C.H. Yates Rubber 80-3143-4 4" Bow Roller 1/2" Shaft

This is an exact replacement for the previous roller, as seen in identical part number and brand shown on the 3rd of the pictures.Difficult to read, in all three cases, but there's a "20" on the broken one, and a "24" on the new one. I'm presuming that these are manufacturing year identifications; otherwise they're identical.I'm speculating that if the roller hadn't been so tightly compressed that the metal plates supporting it and the end guide pieces wore grooves into the hard rubber, that it would have rolled rather than merely compressed with the bow of our boat as it came aboard at the ramp.As it turned out, that failure resulted in some tense moments as I backed far enough down the ramp to allow pressure to come off (and not damage the bow portion of the stem just above the tow loop) for adjustment that my rear wheels on my 4-wheel-drive jeep were floated off the ramp!!!A restart and application of the throttle resolved that issue, but it's not one I care to revisit!!Anyway, an inexpensive replacement and near-instant delivery allowed me to reinstall a functioning roller system before our next refill pull-out.

Well made solid piece of rubber, the price is reasonable.

I actually used mine to make a front motor mount for my 2003 Pontiac Bonneville SE. The rubber is nice and dense and durable.
