A lot of toys for a decent price. Filled up my cage and my quarker parrot loves them

We had to house sit a female grey cockatiel for a month so I decided to get her some toys. Only used half of them since they were large for such a small bird. I was also worried about some of the paper toys and thought she would eat them. She loved the bridge, I stretched it out as much as possible and she likes laying on it instead of just being perched all day on the poles she already had. The Pole and plastic toys were welcomed by her as well.

Budgies are curious and playful and need bright toys and other things to manipulate and nibble on. "Chewing" on wooden toys doesn't hurt them, but wears their beaks down, keeping them from getting too long. (Ours chewed right through one wooden rung of a ladder from a different set!) These toys in particular are super colorful and stimulating and most are fine for the bird. There are a few things you should think about, though. He chewed on the toy with the frayed cords a lot, but we took it away when he seemed sick after swallowing some of the thread. The coconut shell sheds material and is rough textured inside, so we won't be using it, though we cut the ladder off and have hung it in his cage. We'll be watching to see that its cord doesn't become a problem. Since there are so many good toys in the set and we want our budgie in good health, we think eliminating a couple of them isn't an issue.

PROS:▪︎Well built,▪︎lots of pieces to play with and chew,▪︎sturdy for smaller birds.CONS:▪︎The clips and bells are unsafe for birds, replace those with plastic chain links▪︎Made for smaller birds ( like lovebirds)I originally bought one for one of my lovebirds, I liked it so much I purchased a second set for my lovebird pair. They absolutely love it. I didn't put all of them in their cages at once as I like to rotate toys so they get the best out of them.I also have a quaker parrot and I gave her the one with wood blocks. She managed to remove all the beads in a couple of days, so I would think these toys suit better for a smaller bird.I also replaced the clips for plastic chain links as shown in the pictures. The clips are dangerous for birds so I would suggest you replace them as soon as you put them in the cage.The ladder was a hit. My lovebirds play on it all day long.The toys seem to be well built and again, they would be perfect for a smaller size bird, I'm sure my quaker would manage to rip them up in no time.I would recommend and I will buy it again in the future as these get destroyed.Ps: I had to contact customer service and they replied fast and took care of my concerns.Controller in pictures is for size reference, ladder comes with clips not shown in picturesPlease click on "helpful" if my review helped you decide for this toys.
