Moonshine Stills 2" Stainless Reflux Column

For something in this price range, I expected some messy welds or maybe some other cosmetic blemishes. There was none of that. It seems well built and high quality. I've only done a vinegar cleaning run so far, and tested the condenser, but it seems to be working great! If you are planning on putting this on a keg you'll need to buy a specific gasket for that, but they're less than a dollar. Just something to keep in mind.

I was a little upset originally about it being late. But I realized considering all that’s going on and the fact that it was shipped on time just got delayed during delivery, that this was petty of me. This is absolutely a quality piece of equipment and i 100% recommend purchasing. Comes packed with copper and ready to go. You will need a half gasket (flat on one side) if your using a beer keg. Honestly I just took a razor and shaved it and it did fine. Good company. Great product. Sorry for being a jerk guys.

Does this product allow for adding an aftermarket thermometer to the top of the column for use of a pid controller

Works excellent as pot still. Could have had some instructions on how to use Pot and reflux together.

Works extremely well for what I need it for. Made a few batches of rum & a bourbon so far. Once you get your temp & water flow equalized, this thing was pumping out 180 proof like the Nile river! You should add a thermometer to your boiler tank also, the one in the head doesn't tell you what your mash temp is (very important distinction). I added a couple in-line ball valves to help regulate water flow to each condenser.

Arrived promptly with no damage, packed very well easy to assemble, goes together with 2" & 1 1/2" tri clamps, I removed the included 3" temp gauge and replaced it with a 1/2" thermowell for a electronic temp probe connected to my pid controller for more precise temp control

Well made , heavy steel , comes with copper packing , reflux tube , everything except the boiler .

The shotgun condenser has a hole directly underneath the output from faulty welding!
