Quality part that will upgrade your guitar

500k volume pot is perfect for Telecaster guitar with custom wired Texas Specials!
These pots turned out to be just the ticket for my Telecaster! I have a 5-way super switch which allows me to have 5 settings: Bridge, B&N parallel out of phase, B&N parallel in phase, B&N series in phase, Neck. The old pots were cheap and didn't have a good sweep to them. They rolled off way too quickly, leaving most of the sweep empty and doing nothing. So I decided to upgrade. The old pots were both 250k, as is the case with most Strat and Tele pots. I was researching different types of Telecaster pots when I ran across this Hot Rod set. I've got a set of Texas Special Tele pickups in my guitar, so I thought the high output of those pickups would be well served by a 500k volume pot instead of the traditional 250k. I decided to go for it, and I'm so glad I did! After putting these pots in my guitar, it sounds better than ever! In addition to the higher output, which I had expected, I also have much more of an even balance between pickup settings. Before, the 'humbucking in series' and 'parallel out of phase' settings were both quite a bit weaker and thinner than the other settings. With these new Hot Rod pots, everything comes through loud and clear! The 'humbucking in series' setting has a richness and thickness that it just didn't have with the old pots. It sounds as loud and full as the parallel settings! Same with the 'out of phase' setting. The pickups sound like they have a whole new personality! And my tone rolls on and off smoothly and gradually so I can dial in all sorts of different tones, unlike with my old tone pot. I couldn't be happier! I f you're looking for an affordable way to upgrade your tone, I highly recommend this set of Hot Rod pots!

Only buy CTS pots. Excellent product & value.
CTS pots are simply the best. Excellent value. They function smoothly and noiselessly. The feel is also smooth & easy to adjust. They are a standard size so fit isno problem. Installation depends upon tour project. I only use CTS pots in my projects.
