Good rain gauge
Seems to read a little low on rainfall. I will check this in the spring when I can put another guage next to it and compare. Make sure you put some spacers under the device when mounting in on a platform. This is to allow the water to escape from under the guage.

Wi Fi doesnt work
Wi Fi drops out continually. Have great WiFi mesh system with multiple devices all working other than this weather station. In process of requesting replacement.

Easy to use.
Had problems with the sensor a day after getting this. Emailed the company and they said they would send a new sensor out. Haven't received it yet but in the meantime, I took all batteries out and let it sit overnight. It's working now. It's a pretty good indicator of temp and rain.

Pretty cool little weather station
Ok, I know it's not really a weather station but it is pretty cool anyway. The digital rain gauge is what I like about it. It acts like a little funnel. As the water runs through it a little sensor inside measures the amount and reports that back to the base station. Since the water flows through it so you don't have to empty it. I can't say how accurate the rain gauge is, but it is usually pretty close to the reported rain fall in the area. My only complaint is that it is easily knocked over. The squirrels seem to love investigating it and will tip it over. And if you don't notice, it won't catch rain and therefore won't report it. Also since it is pretty light and the the bottom of the gauge is small, it doesn't stand up well in the grass.Pros: convenient, don't have to empty the gauge, has neat features like how many days with or without rain, running totals for day, month, year. Has outdoor temperature gauge as well.Cons: is easy to tip over in making it useless until you set it back upright, can be hard to find a sturdy place to put it in the yard.
