Good stuff. Saw a tiktok recommending these. They are great. They will over heat and burn into the metal but I think that is more of me applying too much pressure. I feel like I get good life out of one disc. And removes rust quickly and effectively. Millscale does an okay job.

Can’t believe I did bodywork on my personal builds without these before. I cannot emphasize just how well these work I was giddy within 10 seconds of using it as it was removing the paint on my dart effortlessly leaving a perfectly smooth scratch free finish. I was so excited I forgot I was in pj’s still and kept going I was so captivated by its ability to remove paint that I really had to force myself to stop and get some clothes on. Eventually stopped and got the proper PPE.- I will say definitely wear a face mask or respirator as everything you touch with this wheel will go airborne and stick to all your clothes if you’re not up wind.- When working around sections like the door seals, straight edges and tighter spots it will tend to throw small pieces and could be because of the wear and perhaps me giving it firmer pressure is the result of that.- Minimal effort to use really requires no pressure at all to work just let it do its magic makes it easy to cover large sections and fast.- These wheels last a pretty long time too considering I removed what I did to a paint ready finish in less than 2hrs and the wheel still had some life. I could see still having some left over after doing the whole car easily.Worth it, buy them, cherish them, never look back and cut your build time in halfYou’ll regret not buying them before after you’ve used them. Guaranteed.

These things are INCREDIBLE. Why waste time trying to perfectly feather sanding and paint - when you can strip disc down to the metal and self etch it properly. Super durable and fast! I was able to remove the paint from my hood in about 30 minutes. It just eats through the stuff. Low vibration/hand fatigue, and I barely had to push at all. The disc makes a little suction and keeps it flat along the panel.

These work as good as the ones from Hazard Freight, but at half the price. Just don’t buy the $18 ones from an actual weld shop because they’re way too expensive and they’re garbage.

I used these to strip the Mill Scale off some new metal, they did a good job and one disk would strip about 8~12 feet of 2x2 tubing (all sides) if you're careful. Too much pressure and it starts melting the material on the disk. Catch an edge and it will chew off a bunch of the abrasive and shorten the life of the disk considerably. I mostly let the grinder float on the material as it spins and give a slight pressure and move the grinder in sweeping motions over the material. I only gave this 4 stars because it's kind of pricy.

For years I have used 40 grit flap disks to remove rust and paint for my shop welding projects. Flap disks start out strong but wear out fairly fast and soon you are have to work hard to get all the life you can from them. I saw these disks had good reviews and would not remove metal - only rust and polish the metal. I ordered a stack of them. I am really impressed with how well they work. They dress up the metal fast and do not steadily decrease their effectiveness as you use them. I was amazed how much better they work over flap disks. With my first use, I finished a job that would have worn out a 40 grit flap disk and this dish didn’t clog or even show signs of wear. And the job was completed twice as fast as a flap disk. I am really glad to have discovered these disks. I highly recommend them for your DYI shop projects.
