It's a Beast
This thing is a workhorse that runs fast and does exactly what I need. I finally have independently controlled Z axis screws for bed leveling as well as fully functional linear advance. I'm happy.

Won't run 'stock' Marlin firmware due to CPU change
This board works but not on stock Marlin firmware. Due to supply shortages they swapped the CPU out for an F429. The source code changes to Marlin have not yet been upstreamed to the Marlin. So you have to download Marlin from the BTT GitHub site - https://github.com/bigtreetech/SKR-2Wasted an hour trying to use the open source Marlin firmware before I noticed that. :-( Shame on you for making that change but keeping the part number the same. Minus one star.Less than 20 hours of printing after install the Bed sensor port quit reading the bed temperature correctly, it reads 30 degrees C too high. Moved it to the 2nd extruder port (and rebuilt Marlin) and it works fine. So it's not the thermistor. Something got fried on that pin. Minus one more star for that.Having to use custom firmware and swap ports on a board i just bought is discouraging. I've had great luck with Big Tree Tech in the past. But i feel they should not have changed the hardware so much it needs its own software while NOT changing the part number. (If it can't use the same firmware its not the same board. Cmon! Call it R2 or something to let us know it's changed!?!?)Also, I may try to exchange this one for a replacement because of the bed thermistor port failure. I love BTT products but this one is not my favorite.

Does Not Work on CR-10 S500 With TMC2208's
I was not able to get the firmware to flash. also will not read from the usb or sd card. Controls on the btt 70 screen would not work. Also shows no printer attached. I returned it now I do not know if I should try another one or not...

Complicated
I have had this for quite some time. And once I got it “running” it was a good board. However firmware was beyond complicated and difficult to configure. I should have gone with the e3 mini since it has so much more community support

No Support
Only X Axis worked. Was not able to get any response at all from Bigtree-tech. Fought with it for months and still not working. Save yourself the headache and get one of the other versions.
