I bought this 13 years ago (2011) and it is still working great!
It's not often that you can buy a product and it still works great after 13 years. I keep this in my car's glove box because I often have a check engine light that comes on. Almost always it's because the gas cap did not seal correctly. However, this reader sure does give me peace of mind, knowing that I can quickly run a check and confirm what the problem is.What's even more surprising is that the LED screen still works. I live in a very hot climate and as you might be able to see, the screen has not been adversely affected.It is important to tell you, the reader only gives you generic / basic information, not the exact problem your car is having. In order to figure out what the code means, I use google search to narrow down the actual problem. In my case, I now know that P0420 means my gas cap is not sealing correctly. Any other code and I would need to research what is wrong.

Easy to use, identified the correct defective airbag sensor on my 2008 Chevy Avalanche, and cleared the other codes which haven’t returned.
