It is what it is. A Plastic version of the glass ones. Perfectly gets the job done. A little hard to fill but wouldn't the real ones also?

Mixed results with the different sized globes
I tried these watering globes for my plants while traveling and had mixed results. The larger globes worked better, releasing water gradually as intended, but the smaller ones were a disappointment. They often got clogged with soil, preventing any water from flowing out, or all the water came at once even when the plant soil was wet. When I returned, some of the smaller globes were still full, meaning my plants never received the water they needed. I’ve used similar globes in the past that performed much better, so I’m a bit let down by this product. While the big globes are somewhat effective, I can’t fully recommend them based on this experience.

Great buy
These work well, they seem to get clogged easy. But that isn’t its fault, I put it in soil

don't waste your money
They are not that easy to fill through the narrow bottom. I expected a whole at the top of the bulb so I could leave them in the plant and fill at the plant. I don't like taking it out and carting dirt over to the sink. But the worst thing is as soon as I stick it in the dirt, the bottom opening fills with a dirt "clog" and the water never drains. I will be tossing the entire set and go back to top watering and hope for the best.

Low maintenance plant care
Purchased this multi pack for various plant sizes and an indoor tree. Stem is narrow so takes an extra minute to fill with water, but overall not too difficult. Easy to push the stem into the soil, but might require a little wiggling to ensure the stem isn’t blocked by soil. When you see air bubbles you will know it’s working. Love that this provides steady watering and allows me to go longer between checking plants. Would buy again.

Helps me to not kill my plants!
These are plastic, which is great bc I dropped one first thing out of the box, and it just bounced.From using them for a few months now, I learned a couple of things to help the water from draining within a day or few hours. First, water the plant -before- you put this in the plant. If it’s already saturated, it’s not going to suck the water out as quickly.I have some plants that are thirstier than others. I generally will put 2 bulbs of water in those plants.Also, make sure you are giving it a good push in there so it has some resistance. Sometimes a little dirt will bubble up to the surface, no big deal.Mine last about a week in between fills. I liked them so much, I sent some to my mom.

Too small
These self watering globes are too small to be of much help in keeping plants watered. More hassle than they are worth.
