Hydro Floss is awesome and addictive. Once you get used to using it, it freaks you out of if you have to go a few days without it, like if you go on vacation or something. My only complaint is that they only last about three years of heavy use before they start to not work as well and you have to buy another one. I recently purchased my fourth one over a 12-year period.

Easy to use and thoroughly cleans teeth

I had a water pik but was told this was better for plague etc. I haven't noticed any benefit. But, maybe it needs more time. I have a couple of big complaints about the product itself: the contact for the container to the base unit is poor - or at least on mine. So if I've taken the water container off of the base, to drain it and clean it, it's hard to get the container back on lined up and working to spray the water out of the tube. Then all that can be done is to press the container down onto the base with one hand while spraying your teeth/gums with the other hand - bit awkward and not right. The other complaint is the noise. It's a whiny irritating noise, so I try to keep the base farther away from my head while it's running. And the tube isn't as easy to keep neat and properly coiled as was the water pik.

I bought this model about 10 years ago. It stopped working and I bought the same model (This one) because I liked the volume. When took the "broken" one apart it was a switch that came loose. A little goop and I have 2 working irrigators. I now use the old one to help clean glass bottles and other items.I like to mix hydrogen peroxide half n half for a very clean feeling. I've also mixed Listerine half n half. Tastes great!Would I buy again? I did! Great value over it's competitors.

I've been using this product for many years for oral hygiene. It is the best product on the market by far in terms of tooth and gum cleaning. However, Hydrofloss needs to seriously improve their quality control. These machines used to last 5-7 years but no longer. My last one needed repair after 9 months.Also, the sulcus tips are great for a focused stream of water but they only last a week at most before the water stream loses "umpf." This should also be improved.

Broke after a few months. Since past 30 days, I could no longer return to Amazon so I wrote to the manufacturer for refund. After about one month, no answer. So, if you do order this product from Amazon, be very sure you do not exceed Amazon's return date if you think something not working properly with this product.
