Gaia Herbs, Sound Sleep Herbal formula, 120 Veggie Liq Caps

I was actually recommended this product by a health care provider. She is a PA and to her credit, always tries some of the less powerful or all natural things first. It would be easier for her to just write a prescription for Ambien and be done with it, but she takes to time to research alternatives (which is why I go there in the first place). I take two of these right before bed, as well as two GABA 750mg capsules. I was doing the GABA and Melatonin, but the Melatonin was giving me weird dreams. The Gaia formula seems to work best in conjuntion with the GABA (for me) because the GABA quiets the mind first. The Gaia seems to work on your sleep "trigger" and helps you get over the threshold to fall asleep. I also found that even when I wake up 3 or 4 hours later as it wears off, that by that time I am already relaxed enough to easily go back to sleep. I travel overseas some with my work, and the great thing about the all natural route is I can safely up the dosage when I am all screwed up. For instance when I go to Asia, if I wake up wide awake at 2am...I can safely just take two of each again. With prescription drugs that is a problem. So far I am very happy with the performance and plan to thank my PA for recommending it the next time I see her.

FINALLY! After almost a year of sleeping 3-4 hours/night, my sleep started to increase to 5 hours and then last night it was 7!!!!! YAY! I started out taking 3/night, then 2/night and now 1/night..... Love this stuff!

This product sounded great, but after I received it, I read one of the Ingredients was KavaKava. I have a problem with that ingredient so had to return it. This product got great reviews so I’m sure it’s terrific.
