Effective and affordable.
This is a complete RODI unit minus the dechlorinator. What is missing is the catalytic carbon. You can buy one of those and put it in front of these (or put it after and never have to change it out). I put it in front to protect the membrane. The water that comes out tests at 6ppm TDS. Our test meter could be reading high too. If you want medical grade pure H2O at a garage-grade price, this is the product (refill). The full plumbing kit is available here too.
