It slices nice, but one time with a sweet potato stained the white slicer portion and wouldn't clean off. Pretty cheap product. Get what you pay for.

Nice for the price
Nice for the price, but certainly leaves some things to be desired. This is excellent for slicing squash, potatoes, and veggies with similar texture. However, the plastic compartment on the bottom is kind of cheap. More importantly, the safety top doesn't work well, so I found you need to use your hands anyway and be VERY careful with blades this sharp. I am still very much in the honeymoon phase of this purchase though, and it has made preparing meals at home much quicker and easier. Overall I'd still buy again in a heartbeat.
