This will remove wine stains
This is a great product that I have been using for years. Use it first before you try anything else and definitely before you first wash the stained item.

It works as advertized.
It worked. Home remedies from soaking, vinegar, and hydrogen peroxide did not work. OxiClean did not work. WineAway got the red wine spot out of a pair of white linen pants.

Helped but wasn’t perfect
Tried to red wine out of a vintage Tabasco golf shirt and it improved the stain a lot but didn’t get it completely out. The stain was on white older material which could be part of the part of the problem. I’ve heard this stuff is great and will be trying this again on future stains and hoping for the best!

How did I live without this?!
I bought this after my mom recommended it to me and wow. This stuff is seriously magical!! I am absolutely blown away at how quickly and effectively this stuff works. Not just for wine either! I’ve found it extremely helpful at getting rid of all sorts of stains. It’s my new go-to.

Works the best on carpets vs. anything else I've used for chili & wine stains.
Our house has a lot of white carpets ... we love how they make everything look more open and airy but unfortunately, mishaps occur with red colored foods/liquids. The bottom line is that I've used a lot of different cleaning products to remove stains from our light colored rugs and furniture and this works the best! It may take a couple rounds before it removes the stains completely ... but it does work like magic.Though this is probably more expensive than it should be ... it's less expensive than buying new rugs, which is why we always have a bottle on hand. The trick is, you need to use this immediately after spilling something ... and you need to work fast. (which is why I don't have before/after pictures to show) Another suggestion ... don't worry about using too much. I usually go through at least a half a bottle for even a small stain. Yes, your mind will try to use as little as possible to save money ... but don't think about that. Use a lot and get the stain out!The last mishap we had was when my wife spilled an entire bowl of chili on the expensive oriental area rug in the dining room. After wiping off the chunky part with a wet rag, the rug was covered with a huge red/orange stain and splatter marks. We slid some paper towels under the rug because this will soak through, which could damage the finish of the hardwoods beneath. Do not use this anywhere near marble or stone ... or, it will etch causing discoloration. We then saturated the stained areas and splash marks with this. After a few minutes, we dabbed the spot with a paper towel until it felt dry and the stain lightened. We repeated the process three times ... each time, the stain got lighter until it disappeared and looked like it was never even there. Seriously, completely gone on a white rug. We used almost a full bottle, but saved a $500 rug. I have also treated red wine stains countless times.I have not used this on furniture/upholstery ... only carpets. We'll never be without a bottle on hand. The bottles used to come in more of a Windex-style pump bottle ... now it's a smaller spritz bottle. We take the top off and dump it on the stains. You also used to get a lot more for half the price. However, I can't complain too much because it's got us out of a lot of jams. It does have a slight citrus smell to it, which doesn't seem to transfer into the rug for more than a few hours.

Stains are WORSE! Dont buy!
Do NOT Buy!!! I had small red wine stains on a cotton hoodie and others on a tee shirt. I sprayed them both and worked it in before washing. When I took it out of the washer, the stains were HUGE! Much worse than before using this product. I pride myself on getting tough stains out and was hopeful this would help with red wine. NOPE! What started as 2 small stains, ended as a garment-ruining product.

New bottle design for wine away spray.
I would have given this a five star, but they have changed their spray container. The nozzle no longer has a directional spray piece . And they have taken off the line bumps on the part that you press to spray, making it much more slippery and harder to use. I give the actual product five stars.
