Ear-Hook Sleep Mask (Black)

It took a little experimenting to get the tension on the straps just right, but once I found what worked for me and then adjusted the nose bridge, this was much more comfortable than other sleep masks I have tried so far. For me, this is mainly because I no longer have a strap going around the back of my head causing the mask to shift around every time I turn over. As an added bonus, I don't wake up with "strap hair" anymore. The ear straps on this mask are made from an elastic material, so there is just enough give to hold the mask on without feeling like my ears are being pulled forward on my head. The adjustable nose bridge feels like a small flat piece of thin flexible metal sewn into the lining on the bottom edge. (The strip runs from about the middle of one eye across the nose bridge to the middle of the other eye. For reference, I added 2 guitar picks to my photograph pointing to the ends of the strip within the seam of the mask.) Very flexible and easy to adjust, so it can be configured to fit any nose shape. The mask also came with a small storage pouch and a couple of ear plugs in a handy little tubular case. Very happy with this purchase, and will probably purchase another one soon to keep in my suitcase for travel.

Nicely designed eye mask, has a metal tab in the bridge of the nose to help mold the mask to prevent light leaks. The hook-over-ear strap is adjustable so no more elastic that gives out and makes the mask loose anymore.

These are great unless your a stomach sleeper. I can’t get to where all the light is blocked out when sleeping on my stomach. But the quality of them is great.

what is committed in the product discription is the moldable nose piece- a desirable feature in sleep masks which blocks out more light. i like to sleep wearing sleep masks as it allows for more shutout of lights that prevent me from going into r.e.m. stage of sleeping. this package was very impressive with its quality outer pouch holding the sleep mask, velvet carrying pouch and earplugs. I wore it to sleep every night for 3 months attempting to break it in as it feels tight and even now it is still tight. It is going in the drawer for good.

The concept is good but the straps end up getting pushed together and squish both ears while sleeping, resulting in waking up thru the night to re-adjust. The actual mask is very soft but not what my husband was looking for comfort wise regarding the straps. We will be on the search once again for another sleep mask...

The ear hook type seems to work better for me than those that wrap behind my head, which are more likely to slide off during sleep. That said, the ear hook is not perfect either and slips off occasionally. I wish they had found another way of providing adjustability without the plastic "buckle", which sits a bit uncomfortably at my ears. Maybe they should use Velcro and locate it away from the ears. The adjustable wire nosepiece works well for me and helps keep out light around the nose. This mask does not keep out 100% of the light but for me this is not a problem with my eyes closed and in a mostly darkened room.

This Sleep Mask's strap doesn't go around the back of the head so it doesn't break off the person's hair. The only bad thing about it is I can't order more of them.

Love that this loops around my ears as I am sensitive to things going around my head. Also like that the nose section is adjustable to keep out light. I would like it even more in a softer fabric.
