The ants have been horrible this year! My group of senior cats eat very slowly. They will nibble all day long, giving ants the opportunity to come help themselves to the cat dinner, which was not the idea! So I needed something to keep them away that would be safe for the cats, and THIS IS IT! It is oil based, so you can spray it under the dishes, then wipe up the excess and it will keep ants away. If you need to spray a dish that got invaded, those ants are dead 💀 just as soon as the spray hits the dish! Then you can lift it and wash the dead bugs away! I even found ants on the chain that holds my bird feeder to the house, so I sprayed the chain and now the birds can dine in peace! It’s just the GREATEST! The smell is different but it’s not bad. I’m glad it’s oil based. That helps it cling to wherever you spray it, and it will stay there for days, even on the porch floor after a light rain.

This product leaves behind an oily residue. It's easily wiped up but could cause issues, especially on floors and some fabrics.

The product (if sprayed directly onto the insect) does kill the insects but stinks and leaves behind a very oily residue. If the residue also killed the bugs I would have been okay with that but no....the bugs walk through it like if it wasn't even there. So I would give the product a 6/10 for effectiveness but not the after math....

I have 4 cats and I am VERY mindful of any poisons I bring into the house. My building has some roaches and this spray has been helping me in the kitchen! It has a nice smell, easy to use, nice spray, comes out like an oil! safe for animals and easy to clean up

This stuff works amazing , love the smell to. It instantly kills ants , roaches , spiders when sprayed a couple of times the smell is lemon grass . It is safe to use around pets and kids ! Thanks raid essentials
