A Great Phone for Seniors, this being my 3rd Panasonic, an easy set up for me. Great Value -Great Features-
Great so far, everything seems to work, have not used all 4 headsets yet. But all lit up and rang. Easiest of Panasonic Phones set up ever, almost took me as long to remove stuff from box, in order to preserve cardboard packing frame, in case of return. But in all seriousness within 15, 20 minutes I was entering numbers in phone list.As a Senior Citizen ? , I like the large bright display and that everything is in large print. The phone is laid out well and fits hand nicely, I have had a number of Panasonic phones all have been durable and delivered a long service life. But this one is something I' m excited about, the features are many and they so far are easy to locate on menu and set up.Not in my time of set up, I installed the phone list from my old set of Panasonics, and switched over a few call block #'s, set initial ring settings and got the phone up and operating. I did not set up Cell Phone as I am considering switching phones or get into some other features I may or may not use. This is a nice system without even counting the bonus feature of merging your Bluetooth Cell into the system Good value they last Panasonic a 3 Handset lasted about 8 years. As I am not making as many calls I expect this to last a lifetime. So for now 5 Stars, I don't usually give this rating on initial set up, but knowing Panasonic Phones and Amazon, THIS IS MY BUY OF YEAR. As always if something changes I will edit this.Note, when you see negative reviews on Panasonic systems and Amazon consider this that Amazon has many sellers and many people handling returns and so on . I have been an Amazon customer for over a decade, I have bitten the bullet on a few small things. But over all Amazon has been reliable as the best of USA retailers. I am a Senior on a tight budget, I don't have time for people who don't back up what they sell.If this review helpful please say so, I do not take free or discounted product's for my review's. I am a Panasonic Brand customer on things I use every day, my TV's, phones and blood pressure machine. The phones, one of the TV's and blood pressure machine all purchased from Amazon

Does a decent job, but could be better in some ways
Like: 4 handsets, simple to set up, able to import my phonebook from my Cellphone via Bluetooth. Fairly decent volume could be LOUDER (I have a moderate to severe hearing loss), some of that is my problem, not the phone's. Keys are reasonable size, lit when in use, but are not super well lit. You can see the numbers in the dark, but it's a little dim. When handset is in charging base, screen is NOT lit up, You must lift the handset to light up its display. Navigation is a bit convoluted, instructions are available from the web (for those with less than ideal eyesight) and then you can magnify the instructions using Adobe Acrobat Reader (free), and search though the instructions for the codes you need to program the device to your liking. You can lower ringer volume individually on each handset, ideal if you want ringer OFF in your bedroom. I bought the 4-pack (base plus 3 satellites) which works great in my apartment. The base unit is in my office, and the others are kitchen, living, and bed rooms. Bluetooth allows me to pair this with my smartphone, works fine. I am using this phone across the Internet (Voice Over Internet Protocol) to make unlimited nationwide phone calls with NO monthly cost and NO long distance cost. Requires a device to convert internet to voice, such devices are available right here on Amazon (see my separate review). Because I am using Google Voice (Google assigns me a telephone number I can choose my own area code), and because I have this phone paired via bluetooth with my smartphone, if someone dials my Google Voice telephone number, this device and all its satellite AND my CELLPHONE all ring at the same time. I can answer any of the Panasonic handsets or I can answer my cell. That's gold because if I'm outside, I can get the call on my cell without having to wait to get home to see a message. In addition, incoming TEXT messages play an alert on the Panasonic handsets, and a voice announces a text came in and says the text sender (but does NOT read the actual text out loud). If you don't want VOICE notification of texts, you can shut it off and just play one of four selectable text ringtones, or no sound no voice (no notification). This feature requires your smartphone to be paired with the Panasonic cordless phone system base unit (a simple and easy process). I deducted one star because the lighting on the buttons could be brighter and the phone sets and charging units could be heavier (more robust). Overall, the price seems reasonable for what you get, cheaper models are available without bluetooth. I like having the handset on my nightstand, in case of medical emergency. A cellphone 911 call may wind up being diverted to the state police instead of your local emergency responder, because your location is unknown. This is why I pay the $25 for E911 service from Anveo which is tied to the VOIP conversion device that this Panasonic plugs into. I tested it on the ANVEO website, and my 911 service correctly reports my name and home address to emergency responders when I dial 911. (Anveo has a special test telephone number to ensure your emergency services are configured properly. You should NEVER 'test' your device by actually dialing 911. They have better things to do than tell you if your phone is working!
