Handy reference for some basic knots
I like the cards. They are basically plastic credit cards with knot instructions printed on both sides.I don't care for the clippers too much. A cheap pair of fingernail clippers will do a better job. Also, I think it is best to practice with the actual fishing line you will be using. The line furnished will help you learn the knots, but when you switch to your regular line, tying the knots will be different.If you want to learn the knots that are included with this set, it will be useful.Overall, I think it is overpriced for what you get. It's the sort of thing you will toss in your tackle box "just in case". If the price were lower, I might have given it 4 stars.

Great gift for my daughter
I got this for my daughter who’s away at college and loves to fish. She’s so book smart but can’t chew gum and walk at the same times. She loved this. And they are waterproof. I tried to show her how to tie a fishing line but I am a bad teacher and girls don’t always listen to their mothers lol. I also learned a lot from this. I always thought there was only one way to tie a fishing knot. Who knew?
