This collection was the perfect solution. The edition itself is beautifully put together—sturdy, with a sleek cover design that looks great on her bookshelf. But the real magic is in the stories themselves. From the gritty tension of The Long Walk to the raw, unsettling energy of The Running Man, these lesser-known gems showcase King’s (or Bachman’s!) genius for blending psychological horror with razor-sharp social commentary. Granny hasn’t stopped raving about how refreshing it is to revisit King’s darker, edgier side, and she’s already blown through two of the three novellas in a week! If you’re shopping for a King enthusiast, this is a must-have. It’s nostalgic, thought-provoking, and packed with the kind of storytelling that reminds you why he’s the master of the craft. Five stars for the stories, five stars for the quality, and five stars for the joy it brought my granny. A birthday gift she’ll treasure (and talk about) for years!

Me decepciona un poco que no esté incluido Rage. Pero se entiende el porqué. Fuera de eso, las tres novelas en esta colección son magnificas.
