The productbis so good and it came on time and in a nice package. The package was small and I was amazed to see everything fit in that small sized box. The tripod is so light weight & has small legs and it extends up to 5 feet and with a twist it stays put.The ring light is so light weight and it has three modes of light with the controller to adjust its modes and the brightness is a cool feature.We took some family pics with this light on and they came out great.The mini tripod is so sturdy and I use it on my desk to mount the webcam or light itself. The ball joint attachment is a nice one to tilt, rotate the lights the way you want and the phone holder holds the phone very nicely. The Bluetooth remote to control the camera clicks remotely is great.

I just purchased this item, so I cannot speak to its long-term reliability. However, based on what I have seen so far, it does seem to be exactly what I've been looking for in a standing ring light. The materials do not seem cheap and easily breakable either. I will be using it indoors, so no issues with wind, though I do wonder how it would fare on a windy day since it's such a light product. The light is quite bright, actually. I haven't used the remote control as yet, but it seems pretty straightforward.

Very briefly - you get a lot of options with this set, several tripods and mounts. I appreciated that. Unlike the photos, you don't see individual lights, you get a full circle of light. It is large and doesn't come with a carrying case, bag, so you will need to figure out how to transport it. (I hung mine on a coathook on the wall in my bedroom, I'm just using it so I look less ominous in Zoom meetings for work.) The cover is plastic and can get scratched. It shouldn't impact the utility, but if you're like me, I look at the scratches and get annoyed with myself for having laid it facedown at some point.Now... the real reason I'm writing a review today because I want to address a complaint I've seen and also offer up a caution (which could be a complaint if you didn't read my review first).The light requires power. There are a few product photos without the cord plugged into anything. That's just bad photoshop. You will need to plug it into power. It has a USB plug, so any of those charging bricks will work, as well as your laptop or even one of those portable battery packs. Some people say it's really dim. This is not my experience - but - when it's plugged into my Mac, its brightest setting is a lot dimmer than when I plug it into the power adapter that came with my phone. It's actually painfully bright plugged into my phone's power adapter and turned up all the way to the highest setting. If it's dim, try another power source.Flicker - I have plugged this into a number of power sources. One one of the power sources, an aftermarket device with multiple USB plugs that also serves as my Mac's power supply, the light flickers. There is no flicker when plugged into my laptop or my phone's power adapter. This tells me it's a problem with the power supply, not the light ring. (So if it flickers, try a different power source.)I really recommend this product, if you need portable fill lighting for videos, this is an inexpensive highly flexible solution. I told my daughter they could borrow it for doing videos and podcasts, but if they take me up on it too often I'll probably buy a second one.

It was easy to use. It did it’s job very well. It stood well. And it was a good price for how well the lighting is.

When I purchased this and got it fast with no problem. It worked great until the lighting bulb blew. I did not have it for 4 months before the bulb blew. Have no idea if I can get a bulb for it or how to open the LED ring. SIGH....

The first month worked fine, but after that it started to get re-heated and turning off at the worst times!I contacted AMAZON but since it was after certain amount of days of buying it, they couldn't do anything about it and they said they will tell the seller to contact me.That never happened either.On top of that the part that holds the map in place is really weak and sometimes the phone is too heavy for it.I had bought another light from this company in the past (my dog broke it) and it was amazing and when I re-ordered, this one was sent to me which was very different from the one I had purchased before. I did not say anything because I was expecting a better product and not a worst one.

I was genuinely surprised at how lightweight the package containing the Uegogo ring light with tripod and accessories was. However, once constructed, the entire unit was quite solid and even with the addition of my smartphone and the ring light itself to the tripod; there was no discernible movement of the equipment.I have toyed with the idea of making some DIY videos for some time now using my table and mitre saws, routers and other tools and this ring light seemed the way to go. The entire kit contains of the 10.2” ring light, an extendable tripod, a detachable smart phone holder, a Bluetooth control switch and a clip for securing the switch to the tripod stand for ease of access.The ring light has 3 different colour modes which are warm, natural and cold, with each of these having 11 levels of brightness, giving, in total, 33 variations of light intensity and colour. Control for these light intensities is on the control switch halfway up the power cord. The lamp is powered via a USB 5V connection (Plug not included).The tripod has 4 main stages making it extendable from 50 cm to 135 cm or from around 20” to 53” in old money. This makes the tripod very versatile regarding getting the exact height you’re looking for. Its aluminium alloy construction gives it strength and sturdiness.A small control switch is also part of the overall product, this one being a Bluetooth device designed to allow remote control of the camera or video shutter on your phone. It will remain visible to your smartphone up to 10 metres distance. To have control you must first pair the device with your smartphone.There is another plastic clip in the box, a red one, which I believe is designed to clip the remote shutter operator onto the shaft of the tripod. However, as much as I tried, I simply couldn’t get it to fit the remote.In summary, a great piece of equipment made from good quality aluminium alloy, giving the product the necessary sturdiness for the task in hand. For a little under 26 quid, I reckon you’re getting good value for your money.

The tripod can be adjusted in height with the adjustment knobs which is a bonus compared to the twist and lock most ring light tripods have as I find them more difficult to use. It can be adjusted from 50cm to 135cm and has rubber pads on the bottom.Furthermore, the ring light is powered through an USB cable making it convenient to plug into computers, laptops, or USB chargers. Also, it has a detachable phone holder made from premium quality plastic and rubber that is compatible with most smartphones.I like how this has a Bluetooth remote control that can be paired to my phone, allowing me to take photos or start video recording more conveniently from a distance.All in all, I think this is a good quality product and is reasonably priced. Would recommend for people wanting a decent lighting source for daily use.

I have an expensive ring light but I have been wanting to get rid of it for ages as it just takes up too much room. This light is not as good as my old light, but it is a good compromise. The thing I like most about this ring light is that it is a full-length floor light but it's still quite light and compact when the tripod is folded down. I will say that the tripod is not the sturdiest one I have ever used but it's not a problem given that it is designed to be used with phones rather than D-SLR cameras. You can change the tone and brightness of the light and I was pleased with the effect. It will certainly be fine for vloggers etc. The light is easy to use and control. You need to plug this light into a USB port to power it.
