I've struggled a lot with managing my money, it always seemed like it was gone in an instant. So I decided to read through this book as finance was becoming a bigger problem for me. I was pleasantly surprised by the advice given, it is very helpful and well written and covers a wide variety of areas including budgeting and dealing with debt, as well as ways which you can earn extra money which have given me some great ideas. Overall I recommend this to anyone who may be struggling or to someone who simply wants to be smarter with their finances.

Good money management is a skill and i would dare to say a quality that it should be learned and cultivated by everyone in order to live life with a clear free-debt conscience. If you have enough cash/paycheck you can do this easily. Otherwise, take certain steps and move cautiously. This book will help even if you don't see all of it through.

I chose this rating because I thought this book was very well written but most importantly for me to how to start to manage my money. It's true that not all people know much about how to handle money. I sure didn't know much until I read this book. It will help me pay off my student loans from college. I would recommend this book to beginners like me.

I used this book as a guide to have a better management of my home budget. Even though I haven't hit rock bottom like the author, I started having accumulated debts and couldn't find a way out. This really helped me structure plans for my money and led me to know my limits of spending and how should I manage them. The tips and tools are super useful!

So easy to read, not intimidating at all. The author's strength is his ability to keep things simple and also share from his own experiences and bad decisions.I got some great stuff I'll absolutely use and will continue to refer back to this book as I go along.

Very readable little book and covers essentials well. Written from an American perspective but principles apply universally. Only problem I have is with page 52 which gives an example of a simple balanced budget. Maybe I'm not reading it correctly but the figures just don't seem to add up.

This book provided some very helpful strategies and suggestions to manage your money. The problems experienced by the author were very similar to my own so easy to relate to. Really liked the 50/30/20 budgeting tip - applied to to my budget and found I was in need of an overhaul. Thanks for a very helpful book!
