Every night before bedtime I take a little cocktail of OTC meds and supplements that includes an allergy tablet, a krill oil gel, a Vitamin-D gel, a women’s multi-vitamin, omeprazole, and a probiotic. I pull them out of the ol’ pill dispenser after I’ve washed my face and brushed my teeth, swallow them with a glass of water, then wish the world good night.I have been a regular consumer of Naturewise products for the past two years. I use their Vitamin D and the Krill Oil supplements religously. They cannot be beat for quality and price compared to drug-store brands. But when it comes to probiotics I have been pretty loyal to the Enzymatic Therapy Probiotic Pearls (acidophilus). I like them because they are TINY, TINY, TINY! I like them because they survive their journey through my stomach acids to make it to my gut with some measure of potency. Did I mention they are tiny? “Tiny” the most important criteria when choosing a supplement because I cannot swallow ginormous pills or capsules. I just can’t.I recently noticed I was running low on my Pearls. Since I like Naturewise so much I decided to check out their web site to research their probiotic offerings. They have several formulas to choose from but I chose the Daily Care formula with 30 strains and 6 billion CFU. I liked that they were shelf-stable and did not require refrigeration. I also liked that they were acid-resistant. There was a 20% discount available for first-time orders via Amazon, so I decided to give it a try by ordering a 30 day supply. The offer also included a free bottle of the same product in exchange for an honest review.When I received the bottle I was shocked to see how LARGE the caplets are! I completely neglected to research how large the pill was when I was reading the information on the web site. I thought there was no way in this universe that I would be able to swallow that caplet. But since I had already run out of the Pearls I decided to make an effort to try the Naturewise Daily Care caplets.I don’t know how they did it, but they made these caplets easy to swallow despite their size. I have been taking them for a week now and it may still be too soon to tell how well they work compared to the pearls but I can say with certainty that I haven’t had any negative effects from the sudden change in probiotic. I will continue to use the Naturewise brand because I like the sustained-delivery aspect of the product. I need to give it a longer trial to see how it affects my general “well-being” but I see promise for this product. I may use them interchangeably with the Pearls. Time will tell. I took off one star only for the size of the caplet, which I still would prefer to be smaller even though it is somewhat easy to swallow.

I started these after not taking a probiotic for awhile. For me, the sudden start of a product containing so many strains was ill-advised. I immediately had sudden upset stomach for about 3-4 days...not the greatest feeling...but happily, that quickly subsided and my gut has been great ever since. I have also noticed that my mood seems more stable, which is saying a lot considering I have a preschooler and a kindergartner; irritation takes longer to boil over into anger. The last noticeable benefit, that I've tried to find another explanation for, is that I did not succumb to the latest round of cold-like symptoms brought home by my 5 year old and whatever random disease my husband brought home after a December flight to Chicago. I had a barely there cough, runny nose, and sore throat for maybe 3 days. Meanwhile, my rarely sick husband, who is not taking a probiotic, is still trying to kick whatever illness he contracted.The ONLY CON (reason for 4 instead of 5 stars) regarding this product and/or this company, is that they are constantly out of stock. I wanted to try their liver cleanse, out of stock (at the time). Tried this product enough to fall in love with it, now out of stock. Wanted to try the chewable probiotic for adults and kids, both currently out of stock. Its great to have found such a wonderful product but come on Nature Wise...you created the demand, now provide the supply.

I purchased these probiotics because I was having digestive issues after having my gallbladder removed and I want to wanted to improve my overall health and digestion. The pills are large and they have texture to them, so take your time swallowing them. This has done just the thing that I was looking for. I am very happy with this these probiotics and I highly recommend that if you have digestion issues instead of going to Prilosec or Pepto-Bismol or milk of magnesia that you at least try probiotics and pre-biotics. These were a great purchase and I will always buy these to help improve my stomach health

I noticed a significant difference of how i felt since using these supplements. I ran out and am now a bit more bloated, gassy and well just not as good as when i was taking it. I stay away from heavy carbs (pizza, pasta, bread, rice) bc they make me extremely bloated. Whenever i did consume them tho and was taking these probiotics it helped reduce the bloating/gas significantly. Also helps with bloat and hangovers the day after drinking. I was careful to notice the differences so i can confidently say that this is a great great product. Def try these if you’re looking to improve your gut health.

I was given a free bottle of this product in exchange my review. I paid for my first bottle, which is really what I'm reviewing now. This is the first time I have taken any probiotic supplement. I have used a number of Naturwise products and been very pleased with the quality and results I have received. I did do some very elementary research about probiotics in the process. I discovered that the important things to look for in a probiotic supplement are: 1. Made in America. 2. Tested by an independent 3rd party lab. 3. Contain tens of billions of Colony Forming Units (CFUs) per serving 4. Have a variety of different strains. This Naturwise supplement met all these criteria.Now for my personal experience. I wanted to wait to review this product until I had used it daily for at least a month. Now that it has been about that long, I have notice a few results. First, I have a HUGE sweet tooth and crave sugar constantly. Since I began taking this supplement, my sugar cravings have been GREATLY reduced. I still enjoy sweets when I eat them, but don't crave them or desire them nearly as much. That's a big win for me! I have also noticed that I am much more regular since I began taking this probiotic. I have had no issues of constipation or any gastrointestinal side effects over the last month. Those two benefits alone are enough for me to continue taking Naturewise probiotics. I'm hoping over time to experience additional benefits as well.
