I am just over 70 years old, my right ear has been getting a bit dull to middle tones,so I tried this over the counter aid, and they work! The lower tones are now a little tinny, but I can hear the tv better. The volume control is quite simple and also there are 3 different modes to set it with when you start using it. When there are more people and sounds in the room,now I can here the one person that I am talking to without the noise from the rest of the room.I think that this really works!

One of the male ends of one of the chargers does not fit into the hearing aid correctly.I just found that out this morning.As I read in the literature that came with the aids, 'your first charge must be 10-12 hours' so I was careful to make sure to use separate wall plugins for the charging. That was Thursday, day before yesterday. I carefully set them up and was amazed that I could hear so well. I even was convinced that the drip coffee maker was springing a leak listening to the process. But all was OK, as I was simply hearing sounds I had never heard before!This morning, I go to turn the aids on and insert them for the day ahead.I put in the first one in my left ear. The left one squeals, and so do I, as I put it in my ear as I know that they work so well that I took the words off the closed-caption on TV--much to my wife's delight.Then I put in my right aid--and did not get the squeal. Oh, oh. The right aid was dead. As I went to plug the charger into the aid socket I was struck again by how much difficulty I was having and then immediately went to the other charger that I used on the left aid. The other male end fit perfectly and it is now charging--for the last two hours now.Which I thought was strange that it is still charging. I thought it would just need a few minutes because I waited the first time until both charging lights were off--after a full 12 hours.I've got errands to do this morning, but I'll check it when I come back.I may have to exchange these. I hope not. I don't want to be without them that long!Maybe I will have to use only the one charger with the good male end. Dunno. But I will. If I could just exchange the charger, I would do it, but 'replace' usually means swapping out the whole shipment.Would anyone know if I am hurting the good aid in charging it again as it did not charge fully the first time?But I am certainly not going to ask for a refund!!

I purchased these for my Mom because she had to move into a nursing home. The transition has been difficult but with these hearing aids, it is a lot easier!From the moment I put them in her ears, it was like she was alive again!I would suggest NOT turning them on until they are comfortably put in the ear and then turn on to avoid any ringing.Very good product at a very good price!

For me. the product did not work as advertised.Once the hearing aid was set in place and I did not move or speak, it worked fine. However, if I moved my head or cleared my throat it magnified the sounds which created load static sounds in my ear. If I spoke, my voice was magnified and it echoed in my ear. in both instances I found the sounds irritating.Additionally, The loop that goes around the ear was to short and did not rest securely around my ear. I felt uncomfortable, and as if was about to fall off when I walked.

I bought these for my dad and he said that they were very uncomfortable and made a noise

Volume controls are easy to use, great value for the money.Only complaint is right rubber ear piece will not stay in ear all the time. It's possible right ear is different from left. Left works great.

They work well but the device itself is very large in comparison to a regular hearing aide

This hearing aid from Amerfist works very well, and not only increases the sound but also the clarity. It fits comfortably with my glasses, and now I can hear sounds that I haven't heard in years.
