I was really surprised when these orthotic shoe inserts arrived to find that they were pre-shaped, not custom orthotics as I had expected, as others that I bought a decade ago had been. In fact, I was initially disappointed about that, but my disappointment lasted less than 24 hours.I had been suffering from increasing pain in my right Achillies tendon and later my heel for several months. For the past month I had been using a cane to keep some weight off my right foot to relieve the pain when walking or standing. Even so, stabbing pains would occur when I moved that I had to rank at a level of 10 at their worst (equivalent to that from burning flesh).To keep this story short, the morning after first using these orthotics for the first day, I woke and had no pain in my right foot when I put weight on it and very little discomfort for the rest of the day.. That was 5 days ago and they are still working. I am using them in my "house shoes." I will probably buy some additional pairs for my other shoes very soon.One week before ordering these orthotics I visited an orthopedist physician who recommended I seek treatment by a podiatrist physician, which I did earlier in the day that I ordered these. This purchase is compatible with her recommendations, and I made the purchase when I found that my custom orthotics did not seem to give enough relief.I give this product 5 starts because that is all that are available - I would give it 10 if I could!

This is my third set. They create excellent arch support even in shoes that have none.

I love these for my high arches they lasted just over a year before braking down. I was able to swap then in & out of shoes as I needed. I’d remove the liner in my sketchers or Brooks shoes and place these inside them to help support my feet to prevent plantar fasciitis. Eventually the 1st ray pad will fall off the bottom and I tried gluing it back but had to just get another pair but at $70 every 1.5 years is good for me.

I wear these inside of my shoes all the time. They give me great arch support which I need.

After long effort the removed sections pulled with them also a part of the orthotic … and you can not put 1 st ray section back anymore .What a disappointment!

The level of comfort and no slip or squeak in my shoes, don’t hold odors. I have tried many other brands and styles but these are the hands down best and all I buy now.
