Works well on Dell refurbished desktops (mostly)
So far i've only been able to get this working in a PCI-E 16x slot. Converted an old gaming pc into a gpu mining rig to get started without breaking the bank (wish the GPU's didn't do that too).No problems with the install of the card running in 2 seperate Dell refurbs. You should see your cards in GPU-Z and if they are generic then load the appropriate drivers, then all specs will show.Connection speed is fast enough to hash along and not have any dropped packets/blocks to each GPU.I will be picking up a couple more!Edit: - tried on another system later and had no luck with the card working with more than one GPU. These cards are very dependent on the mobo's being able to handle them. Newer boards seem to handle it but there are limitations to the architecture of older ones. Still trying to figure out if there is a driver update that might work, but no luck so far. Multiple BIOS updates to multiple chipsets, still no luck.I'll post more info if I come across a working solution.

Works perfectly - might need to update your BIOS.
I installed this on an old Dell 710 that only had one PCIe slot. Previously was a test rig with one riser. This adapter let me plug in more GPU's to an otherwise obsolete motherboard. At first the computer would only recognize one GPU, but after updating BIOS (to a 2013 version).. it was able to see the rest of them. Overall, excellent. This adapter card let me repurpose an old computer, saving me money and keeping it from becoming e-waste.

Works.
My older motherboard had limited slots. So I added this card and now run three GPUs off this thing. I just plugged in the usb from my gpuriserscom risers. Been mining about 7 weeks. I didn’t have to change any settings or do any additional setup, it just worked. No hiccups or issues.

fixed a problem i had running multiple cards
Running my graphics cards off separate pcie slots on the motherboard i was using was giving me errors in windows device manager about running out of resources, running them off this card as a splitter completely solved that issue.

Decent
I was only able to get 3 usb to work per card, I have 2 of these cards on a B550/11400 combo. All in all 6 gpus for mining. A bit slow to startup 3-5mins, but it does the job. Stable and easy plug'n'play.

Does what is promised to do
I failed to use it with Z590 motherboard but turns out to be MOBO issue. Worked fine with H510 and Windows. Just plug and play. Able to run different brands and different graphic cards at the same time

Works great!
Will expand your ports. Don’t even need those fancy boards that support above 4g decoding. My mobo didn’t have it and this thing worked perfectly.
