exact replacement in my mitsubishi outlander sport gt. saved my about $65 by doing it myself. i did have to look up a video tutorial because it's not obvious how to get the filter in and out, but it's actually super easy.

The filter fit well; car odors were greatly improved.
My car always had an odor when I started the vehicle which generally dissipated in a few minutes. I changed the cabin filter, and the entire odor disappeared. The installation was more difficult than it should be. The rubber edge of the door seal had to be pulled pack partially. An interior plastic cover which is low and to the right of the passenger's feet can be pried off with a screwdriver. There are several screws to remove the glove box to access the filter area. A plastic filter cover is easily removed to expose the filter. Then put the glove box back in place, pop-on the side cover and press the side seal back in place. it took me about 10 minutes to complete.
