Great Little Chopper
I was a little hesitant to purchase based on a few reviews. I did not find this chopper to be defective as some noted. Works very well for me. I recommend and would purchase again.

Very small but works great.
It is a very small chopper, but it works wonderfully well. I bought it to chop up fresh cranberries and it did the job quite well. I does pull a lot of the food up into the blade section and I had to stop and clean that out occasionally when I was chopping. A small bag of cranberries had to be divided up into 5 batches in the chopper. All in all, a great little chopper for small projects but you are better off using a food processor for bigger jobs.

Texas Cook
I had a chopper something like this many years ago and have been looking for another one for a long time. These choppers are easy to use, clean and store. Works great and without big and bulky machines.ONE BIG COMPLAINT!!!!The only complaints, but a very important one is that the clear hard plastic casing around that holds the item under the blade is now cracked after just two uses. I wish I would have checked it out better, because I'm not sure if there was a small crack in it from the beginning. I know that I didn't wrongfully use the chopper, so not sure why or how it happened. I am very disappointed, I have wanted one for a long time and now it's to late to exchange it for another one.Thank You Amazon For Having Nearly Everything I Need and Want!

Easy
Works as expected. So much easier than using a knife 🔪. It's a little difficult getting the gray plastic cover for the blades back on. Remember that the little tongue goes down when you put it back together

Doesn't work very well
I find to finely chop garlic with this chopper you need to strike the plunger about 100 times. It can be done fairly quickly, but makes quite a racket, and only takes that long because it's so poorly designed. Still, it's cheap, so there is that. Cleaning is seemingly impossible, with water seeping out for some time after cleaning, and it still didn't get all the bits. If you are thinking long term use, this is not the one. If you are just trying to see if this kind of device could be useful, it is the cheapest suitable one I found.

Size matters.
It's relatively well thought out and well made chopper which does a fine job as long as what you need to chop is small. You might be able to chop up half an onion at a time but the prep work needed to get it inside the unit would negate any time saved using the chopper.

Not as good as advertised
I had high expectations for this marvel but was less than impressed.Spring sticks so the blades don't always retract unless you put more than hard slapping pressure.Cleaning is very hard. If you try to fully disassemble it putting it back together is very difficult.I got better results using a knife and cutting board.Waste of money.

Mechanism gets stuck and base has broken in a month with light use.
