I got this to add r1234 to my daughters car. The shop wanted almost 1200 dollars to fix a suspected leak in her cooling system. I did some research and got a can of coolant with stop leak and figured I had nothing to lose. I need this special adapter to add the coolant as what I had wouldnt work. Worked with no problem. Months later, ac is still ice cold.

I got lucky. I couldn't tell for sure from the product description that it would work on my wife's car. There are no instructions with the product, so at first I thought it did not attach correctly to the AC low-pressure connection, but I figured out that the quick-connect type fitting, when attached correctly, does connect correctly. After adding a couple of small cans of 1234y refrigerant, and the cabin temp lowering a little, today we received a Honda recall notice on the AC compressor!

BOUGHT THE SAME HOSE WITHOUT A GAUGE AND IT WORKS JUST FIND BUT NEED GAUGE TO SEE HOW MUCH WAS PUTTING IN AND WITH THE GUAGE WILL NOT SCREW ONTO THE CAN. WITHOUT THE GAUGE SCREWS RIGHT ON. THIS COMPANY REALLY SUCKS AND CAN NOT MAKE PRODUCTS THAT WORK. SO NOW I GET TO GO LONGER WITHOUT AIR IN MY CAR BECAUSE THERE IS NO PRODUCT CONTROLL

Good hose for the money. Not real heavy duty but you won’t need to use it very often.
