I have used this my entire life. No side effects.I get ticked off when I see the lidocaine version, but if that version helps the company stay in business, great. Just do not ever stop producing the original good stuff. I needed it occasionally when young. Lord knows I’m gonna need it as I age.And I know people are all hopes on the NSAID kind from other brands. But that’ll die down some and hopefully they’ll do as I do, which is have an arsenal of different topicals as pain is different and the causes are too. For me, this is perfect. I forget my pain in about a minute. If it is mega-pain, I may do some icing of heating first, then apply. Or let it set in for a while, then hit up a heating pad. Again, the NSAID cream or gel are fine, but putting on too much or overly repeated use isn’t good for me as I’m a little sensitive to it. But, Aspercreme is pretty perfect. Pain and cramp relief
Aspercreme has become my absolute go to for any type of sore muscles or cramps or stiffness. I get the unscented and it's probably the best on the market.What I love most is how it just melts into my skin. No greasy mess or overpowering menthol smell. I can use it anytime, anywhere, without worrying about smelling like an old person or gym rat.It's also the very best for cramps - as in my toes and calves. I just rub it in and it's almost immediate that they will stop. I'm not saying it magically erases all pain forever but it does a great job for temporary relief! I've tried other pain creams, and they either burned or smelled awful, but Aspercreme is just…perfect.

Thought I'd try this. Usually buy Stop Pain spray or roll on. I am sticking to Stop Pain
