Feels sturdy, easily installed with practically no assembly.Going to a tri this weekend to evaluate with two light road bikes on my Walmart special bike rack.Will update soon.

Stable, easy to use.
This works great. I carry two bikes on this with ease. I can swing it out of the way, , with the bikes on it, to access the hatch back, on my wife’s car, or the tailgate, on my truck.

Nice augment but expensive accessory
Seems to be well built. I just wish they had stated that the bike rack was not included. I had to send the arm back. if you have a the cash this would be a nice augment.

Build quality is great , heavy duty latch.I built a frame to hold a 48” tool box to store a generator, gas tank and tool bag. All together weighs just under 200 lbs. it does sag a little ( to be expected) with all that weight. I’ve driven this set up around 15,000 miles no issues

Poor construction(update)
Great idea, bad parts! The lock down u-bolt snapped on the rack and it is impossible to get customer service to help in getting a new one. The hinge on the arm is weak also and about to snap after multiple uses. There are better ones out there! Don’t waste your money like me, buy better once!After months of trying to get parts to fix the broken parts, that I was willing to pay for them. Saris stepped up and just sent me a new one.

Perfect for my Jee
Absolute game changer!! This hitch swing adapter makes it so easy with having a bike rack or cargo rack on the jeep and being able to still utilize the back gate. My dogs won’t jump in the side door so if we have a bike rack on the back, they have to be lifted in the side door. Now we can just swing the hitch to the side and use the rear gate again! Love this hitch swing!

Great for accessing the rear doors of our van without removing the bikes from the bike rack.

Used from Amazon ($172!!)
I got this item in today and mounted it with no issues on my Ford van. The item was purchased through Amazon as a RETURNED ITEM but since it was 172 bucks, I decided to give it a go. Anyway, the only issue was the pin that releases the open swing arm is BENT and it makes it impossible to lock it into the open position. I don't really care about that anyway. Not gonna leave it "swinging" or open anyway for too long. I will likely cut that pin out altogether and replace it with another bolt or pin. Or not. Not a major issue as far as I'm concerned. I saved around 40 or 50% on the purchase price. Also, I won't be using that lame screw system/lock unit to lock the swing arm onto (into) my receiver. A regular locking pin from Walmart will do the trick! I'll use the insert part for additional strength, after I drill out the bolt threads. Too many complaints about that threaded bolt breaking after light use.
