It's everything I wanted and Soo much more. I've got perfect delays for everything I want to play. The sound is perfect!

Maybe I got a faulty one but there was terrible white noise and little to no customer support. Yes. I tried adjusting the feedback knob.

Such a gorgeous pedal. I went on a huge delay hunt owning and reselling maybe a dozen pedals (Boss DD-200, Strymon El Cap, Brig, GFI Orca, Walrus D1, ARP 87, Alexander Rewind….the list goes on). And I’ve finally happily ended up with the Starlight. Certain pedals might do some things better than this one (nothing really beats a true analog delay to me) but for a digital delay with this amount of flexibility, nothing sounds close in quality of sound. It just has such a hi-fi studio quality articulation to the repeats. I mainly use the DMM mode as it’s a little softer and warmer than the other modes, but they honestly all sound amazing. The Precision mode is an excellent clean digital delay, the Tape mode is a little cleaner/brighter than other pedals (El Cap is much warmer) but still sounds excellent. And the Cube delay is just a great doubler delay sound that is just unique from the rest. I love that the analog and tape modes have preamps built into them that you can even leave always on, so you essentially get a bonus preamp pedal with it. The app works well, and it’s nice that it stores your presets as well as offers other artist’s presets to try out. It might take a little time to dial in your favorite sounds (I initially didn’t take to it, but after trying out other delays and coming back I realized just how great it was). I will note, the pedal is definitely for tone purists, who want that studio like sound. The El Cap is equally as beautiful sounding (though less features) but is distinctly warm and “Strymon” sounding. So the Starlight might not be for everyone, but certainly worth a try if you want the highest quality delay tones. Doesn’t hurt that it looks awesome either!

the pedal arrived late , which happens , then i went to register and i had to do an update before moving fwd - why? because the pedal was from early 2021??? i have 2 other univ audio peds i purchased recentl- both current production. the pedal has presets fromm mfr and "artists" they are just awful 0 unlike ruby and dream that have good presets on both counts.

Sounds pretty good - if basic, vintage delays are your jam - but it’s no better than an El Cap or any other premium pedal. Stereo spread is also a bit narrow and the pedal itself seems unnecessarily large for what feels like a hollow (rather light) metal box. Main problem is it doesn’t support midi so you can’t sync it to an external clock (a requirement for me in a delay pedal these days) or change presets. If they add midi in the future (which it seems they’re in no hurry to do) I’d consider buying it again but otherwise it’s unusable for studio use so it’s going back.

Precision, Analog, Echoplex…couple of presents and beautiful modulation. This pedal has it in spades. Coming from a timeline and playing out a bunch, it’s a trick to get used to essentially having two presets, but they’re fantastic. The depth of sound from this is mesmerizing, couldn’t recommend a delay pedal more!

No power cable. No mention you might need a power cable. Not being able to turn it on makes it useless. Disgusted

Für meinen Sohn gekauft. Lieferung war überraschend schneller als angesagt und sehr sicher verpackt. Das Delay konnte so am selben Abend noch angeschlossen werden. Super gutes Teil, macht Freude.

As with all my UA pedals, this pedal delivers! Excellent echo/delay effects.
