Q: What is it made of? Does it go rusty at all?

The corrosion resistant plating was not so good - mine rusted in places.

Q: Is it strong enough to squeeze RTV silicone from metal tube?

i would almost guarantee that it could. The whole unit has a German-like finish to it in regards construction and materials. Go for it.

Q: Does it stay tight? Is it easy to turn? Easy to clean? does it rust? Does the color handles wear off? Any warranty?

It stays as tight as you squeeze it.The harder you squeeze, the harder it is to turn. You don't need to clean it unless you bust a tube with it (I never have). It's stainless steel. The handles don't any color they're stainless steel. Warranty?? Read the Amazon description, I don't know.

Q: Will it squeeze plastic tube i.e. caulk, glue, etc.?

Works incredibly well at sqeezing any tube! From toothpaste to glue! Buy it!
