Rixie Clip Bra Band Tightener (RC),1/2 Inch Two Hook,Black

This worked like a charm the first two times I wore it. After that, I started noticing that it doesn't like to stay clipped - it wiggles loose, especially if you are quite active, loosening the bra band enough that you have to excuse yourself to go fix it. It also doesn't like to sit neatly with the bra band, and can twist around and poke you. (Body/fashion tape does not help this, and can actually make it worse because then the fabric is sticky and it doesn't come clean well.)If I were going to keep using it, I'd get one for each bra because it isn't as quick and easy as expected to slide it off of one and onto another. I'm glad I tried it, but in the future I'll be going to the craft store, buying the a strip of these hooks, and stitching them into bras myself. It won't be any more time or energy, and it will be cheaper.

I recently lost some weight and got rid of several bras because the band was too loose for me, even on the tightest setting. Then I read about the Rixie Clip, and figured I'd give it a shot since it's far cheaper than a new bra. I really wish I had kept those old bras, because this clip solves that problem completely! It's very easy to use: open the clip, slide it onto the band over the existing hooks, position it as tight as you want it, and lock it in place by closing it shut. Then put your bra on like you normally would. I've tightened some of my older bras by as much as 3-4 inches using this clip. I'm glad I can do that without having to sew, because I am not the best seamstress! It's also very comfortable, so long as I locked it in place completely straight. On one occasion I had put it on a bit crooked without realizing it, and I could feel it poking into my back. So I make sure it's completely parallel before I lock it in place. I hand wash mine after every use and dry the clip right away just to make sure it doesn't rust or corrode. I've only had one problem with my Rixie Clip - I have one bra that is a very satiny material, and the clip couldn't seem to stay in place. Over the course of the day it slid out of place and loosened up. But since I have used the clip on 5 of 6 bras with no problems, I still give it 5 stars for how well it works.

Great idea but doesn't work as well as I had hoped. The spiky part doesn't grip the bra brand too well which means it doesn't tighten the band very well. It works fine as an extender but cheaper extenders can be bought. I found the plastic part that is in contact with the skin to be uncomfortable.

this must be a joke -this does not make any strap smaller - this is an extender - but first you are insulted by ridiculous instructions that make no sense. quality is so bad. if you need to make your strap tighter enough to merit spending money on a gadget then you must need it a good amount smaller - which the only way this might possibly work to make it smaller is by stuffing the entire side of your bra in this clip that as a result bunches the entire side in it and makes the bra lopsided. in fact i am not sure i would trust it not to rip my bra lace.

The product is made in someone's home, and up until recently they had pets. I have severe animal allergies and did not know this before ordering. When I received the product and tried to use it, I had a serious allergic reaction to it. The maker tried to claim it was a nickle allergy, but that isn't the case. After pressing the issue, they admitted they had a pet and made the product at home. Rixie did offer to send me a replacement, but I declined because it would still come from the same environment.Amazon needs to stop letting people sell home made products on their site without giving customers adequate notice - this isn't Etsy. If you're going to sell products you made yourself, do everyone a favor and disclose things like you smoke, have pets, or your family helped you make it.Allergies aside, it's a poorly made product and slips when you wear it. It will not stay put during normal use unless you're willing to punch it through the fabric. Save yourself the hassle and either buy a tighter bra band, or go to Joann's and make your own for less.

This would stick fine to the thicker fabric of your bra (where the hooks are) to extend the hooks (e.g. make your bra bigger) but does not work AT ALL on the thinner, meshy type fabric that comes before the hooks if you're wanting to make your bra tighter. Pretty much useless and now sitting in my drawer.
