Really Bad Gravel Cleaner
First, the site said that it was 52 cm. which is 2". My aquarium is 19" deep, and this does NOT reach to the substrate of the aquarium. Secondly, I'm very familiar with this ty[e of gravel cleaner, so I knew how it "should" fit together. However, this one is a mystery and that couldn't be helped by the third fact - the instructions, except for one phrase, are completely in Chinese characters. The English phrase? "Before operating the appliance, please read completetely the operational manual and keep it handy for reference in future." EVERYTHING else was in Chinese character writing. I have the feeling that this was meant for sale in China only. Fourth, the pipes do not fit snugly together so they fall apart even before you try to fit use them in the water. Fifth, if you want to use the bag that came with the gravel cleaner, don't - the bag falls off of the connection that is meant to hold it. This was such a terrible disappointment!!! I waited extra time for its delivery, and really needed it, but it was a waste of time, money, and waiting. Do NOT buy this because it will disappont you. Right now you're protected, because Amazon is out of them so you're protected. If it becomes available again, forget it -- this is one of the worst gravel cleaners I've ever purchased and a tremendous disappointment.
