These balls are not what I thought I was getting. They aren’t the balls I actually ordered originally. I had chose the balls that had the feel and look as real baseballs, but with orders being needing corrections and excuses, Amazon failed to fulfill my order and cancelled it promptly. I then had no other alternative to the choose a similar product and was stuck purchasing these instead. These balls are smooth, not textured, slightly wider then a baseball and just don’t have the right feel. They do function as they should, although that can’t makeup for the sight picture for ball recognition to batters. Decent product, but search around better more realistic ball design and feel.

So far so good. My 17 year old son and I did some soft toss, hitting into a net with these. 75 swings, this set of nine, then six baseballs. 5 rounds. After the first nine with these, he was amazed at how then hitting a baseball felt like hitting a wiffle ball.They’ve suffered no visible damage yet after our first time out. He can really tell when he doesn’t hit the sweet spot. I believe this to be a great tool to practice barreling up the ball and improving hand eye coordination. It’s also a great way to get the feel of hitting a hard thrown, 80+ mph pitch without having to do any more than a soft toss.So far would recommend.

These are some great heavy balls for the kids to smack around. We had some smaller balls in the past that just didn't live up to these heavy ones. The feel of these balls are amazingly smooth in your hand and are easy to clean when they get dirty. These balls explode off the bat when hit right so you better watch your face or these balls will hit you in the chin.

I have had the origins 3 balls for 6 baseball seasons coaching little league. They have yet to be punctured or split open in any way the nine pack is the same set same weight and are just as durable. Thanks rukket for making products for people like me that come out of there own pocket that may not have a lot of money to continually buy new products due to failure.

I've been going back and forth on a review for a while. The quality is great and they stand up to a beating. I have a 12-14yo baseball team that we've worked the balls into regular practice rotation. They've held up to quality hitting and helped to improve their strength. My only dislike, I don't like the size. They are larger then a baseball and I don't like that. The grip is thrown off a bit and seems to change throwing positions for players. The players like them better then the baseball sized hitting balls from other companies. The quality and material is liked and they say they like the bigger size. The weight and slack the balls have is their biggest advantage. They use it in games of pepper and like the full swings and limited flight they get.

We can now practice in the basement with the Tee. These are limited flight and soft. Not for playing catch or practicing pitching. These are for hitting work and they are great. I have a 11 year old and we are about 10 ft from the drywall and haven't broken through it yet. I and he love these.

These are a great training product that doesn't need a lot of space to use. I haven't hit them but my 15 and 10 year old daughters have and they have handled some solid contact. I bring them in a 5 gallon bucket and sit on the bucket about 15/20 ft away and pitch to them. It seems to give them enough time to see the ball and make good contact . Perfect for the back yard and pre game warm ups without having a bunch of kids to shag balls .Should get years of use out of them. Great value for this product and shipping was fast.
