Plug and Play... It cannot be easier
This wiring harness is absolutely plug and play. So easy, and so bright compared to before the harness... like having high beams but aimed as low beams. High beams could illuminate satellites with the right headlights or bulbs (example: Hella H4 housings and Osram Nightbreaker H4 bulbs). I wish I would have done this upgrade a long, long time ago.Instructions to install for a Jeep Cherokee XJ or Comanche MJ:-Remove grille, headlight bezels, and headlamp bulbs. Disconnect battery - and + terminals.-Feed harnesses from the passenger side starting between the battery and the back of the headlamp housing, over to the driver side.-Connect relays to new harness.-Plug the driver side bulb into the new harness.-Attach the new harness's ground wire under one of the small bolts on the radiator support after scraping the paint off under it to ensure a good connection.-Attach the harness to the existing harness conduit behind the grille working toward the passenger side.-Plug the new harness plug into passenger headlamp. Note the original driver side headlight plug will be free and not used; cover with electrical tape.-Attach the ground for the passenger side just like you did the driver side under a radiator support bolt.-Attach relays with provided bracket on the passenger side inner fender in a fashion where water will not get in to them.-Connect power wires to positive battery terminal.-Reconnect + and - terminals to battery. The install takes approximately 30 minutes.3 MONTH FOLLOW-UP:After three months the harness is still working perfectly. No blown fuses, no blown relays, no blown bulbs, no letting the smoke out of the wires. Please take note: when preparing your grounds, remove all paint/dirt from the body where you intend to attach the ground wire... a screwdriver and/or a little work with some 60 grit sandpaper will do the trick. Dielectric grease is also suggested to maintain long term continuity and fight corrosion/rust.

Worth the money. Not a game changer, but not intended to be.
This is a pretty straightforward kit. The factory harness from one light plugs into this new harness and serves as the signal from the factory light switch to the new relays, which are connected directly to the battery positive post. This way, you have better, heavier wiring directly from the battery to your lights, instead of going through a maze of the crummy factory wiring. This gives the lights the full amount of power that they should have...not any extra power. So, you won't be blown away by the extra brightness...but you're now getting the full potential from your lights. One nice thing is that you can upgrade to better lamps now, as they'll get all the power they require. I installed these on a 91 Jeep Cherokee with it's old, original, cheap lights. There was a definite difference in brightness. It's definitely worth the money. It's not like installing a new set of projector lights or anything, but for the money there is added brightness. And it is quick to install. I installed it in probably 20 minutes. This is obviously a Chinese product, as the wording on the box and in the directions is hilarious. It's almost worth the money to buy the product just to get a laugh at how they translated everything into English. The quality of the kit is just "okay". Nothing exceptional here. But, I believe, it's enough to do what it should. Bottom line, buy this kit before you buy new lights. Then, you'll be properly set up if it isn't bright enough to run whatever lights you choose and get the most bang out of them.

Decent upgrade
I installed on a 1998 Jeep Cherokee Sport. So, reading previous reviews, I was hesitant about this kit but went for it as it can easily be modified to work. Everything seemed to be put together well. I replaced the cheapo relays with BWD relays part #R4136P. This is listed as a fan motor relay but will work. The typical Bosch 5 pin relay won't work. If you are not electrically inclined don't worry as it is pretty straightforward. The translated instructions on the package are not good but you can get an idea just by looking at the simple diagram they give you. A lot of people were complaining about the bright yellow harness. This is also solved with putting inside some split loom and running along a factory harness. This is a cheap harness made in Taiwan. Don't purchase this and expect Ferrari grade parts. You get what you pay for. I already knew I would need to modify, but purchasing this saved me time putting my own together. Note: This will work for a pair of headlights with a relay for low and high beam (high beam up to 100W). If you have four headlights, i.e. two on each side, you will have to order a separate kit. If anyone is unfamiliar with how this works it takes the power away from the factory headlight switch and sends it through the relays, and at the same time delivers full power generated from the alternator to the headlights. If you install higher wattage headlights they will be dim and will melt factory wires and the headlight switch as the standard equipment on these vehicles are junk, and the engineers never thought that people would actually want to be able to see at night. Also, people were saying about the relays rusting out. You need to put the relays in an upright position in a location where they cannot get wet. This is standard. If you can't keep them 100% in a dry location, you need to seal them and it will save you headache. If being used on a 97+ Jeep Cherokee with factory fog lights, you will run into an issue where once you turn your high beams on, and then off again, your high and low beams are stuck on causing 115W running through. There are several ways and one correct way to solve this. I personally just removed the fog light relay since my fog lights are no longer on my Jeep anyway and this solved the issue.Oh yeah, so the right way to do it... Cut the 20g Red Fog Lamp Relay #1 ground/trigger wire at the back of the driver's side headlight plug. Extend this wire using your preferred method so that it is long enough to reach your new aftermarket high beam relay. Splice it into the 87 pin (output) of your new high beam relay. If you have two 87's (which is ideal), either one is OK. Do not however use 87a if your relay has it!

Great harness for H4 light upgrade
Quality harness for installing H4 lights with relays on an old Chevy. No worries about overheating the old factory wiring without a relay.

Product is pretty good quality but I expected slightly heavier gauge wiring
Arrived quickly. Product is pretty good quality but I expected slightly heavier gauge wiring. Although I expected heavier wiring this harness did the job once installed, my headlights(HID projectors and ballasts) no longer flicker from not getting enough power!! Maybe 4.75 rating would be deserving :)

A must for a Jeep XJ
Used for my 2001 Jeep XJ Cherokee. Made a huge difference, the stock wiring is a little under-engineered. Everyone with an XJ should upgrade the headlight harness.100% plug in, no cutting or connecting unless you want to shorten it to fit better. I didn’t

Powerful and quick to install
The relays are always clicking when my day lights are on... had to replace with higher quality relays! But wow! What a difference in light!
