Results after the first use
First use and there's such a huge difference at neutralising those orange tones already!!I never ever post reviews but had to with this product!Okay so first off there's a huge difference between brassy hair tones and those with orange /red undertones.I've a brunette to blonde balayage and the roots melt has this orange/red tinge through the brown.I only used this on my roots/brunette hair and avoided my blonde ends.WEAR GLOVES 😂 it does stain a little but doesn't take tonnes of scrubbing to come off.I left this to sit on my root area for about 10-15 minutes on damp hair.I then rinsed this off, then did a second rinse gently rubbing into my scalp to get any blue pigment.I could see a huge difference to my brunette even when wet, it looks richer and those orange/red tones are goneeee.I think this is probably best applied once a week maybe depending on how your brunette fades if dyed 🙂Next time I'm going to dilute some with another conditioner to target the blonde to brunette transition parts with the blue shampoo on my roots only.To tone my blonde hair I use a purple shampoo to banish brassy tones. This seems to be a great combo for anyone with a balayage or ombre etc.

Slight difference but dries hair out
First off, just want to say be very cautious as this product does stain your hand and bathroom if you do not clean it in time. Did notice a slight difference preventing copper tone but does dry out your hair. The ingredients are cg approved which is why I got it but you do need a good hydrating conditioner.

Unsure if product was faulty? Terrible quality
Product was too thick to be squeezed from the tube, and when you did manage to get any out it didn't lather up. It didn't smell of much, and was generally an unpleasant experience! I think it may have been a bad batch, or a faulty product. It felt and smelled a bit like acrylic paint. If you're not quick it can also stain your bathroom, so proceed with caution! (Although it comes away with a good scrub, unlike hair dye etc which can take months) - Overall, would not recommend.

Works well
As someone with blonde balayage I wanted to try a blue shampoo instead of purple as some of my newly dyed balayage started looked very orange. I was not disappointed with the shampoo though it does take a few tries to get used to. I would recommend wearing gloves and not leaving it on your scalp too long as this will cause staining. It will tone the unwanted tones out to a degree, its good to use in-between salon appointments. As it's a bond shampoo and a toner your hair will feel a bit dry after use so I would recommend using a deep conditioner or hair mask afterwards. I used the pantene keratin hair mask and my hair was lovely after I had dried it

Blue stained hands!
Thought I'd try this product to remove the brassiness from my hair colour. It didn't work on my hair but left my hands and wetroom walls stained blue. Not reccomend

Works better than any blue shampoos I've tried, scary reviews on here are not accurate.
So I've been trying various shampoos to tone my warm brown hair, mostly *Blue* shampoos.I've used the John Frieda Blue Crush and it made no difference whatsoever and I've even used Fanola Official Sets No Orange Shampoo & Mask Sets which literally did nothing. As I have either dirty blonde hair or light brown hair I have also tried a range of purple shampoos which also as you guessed... did nothing.I have been trying this shampoo as I really like Charles Worthington as a brand, and I have to say the reviews on this made me worried for nothing. First off yes you get blue hands, but it washes off so quickly. And secondly my hair has not gone green! I even leave it on for 10 minutes in a shower cap and it has not gone green! It's probably the only toning shampoo that has made a difference, and it is only after a couple uses, I can see my hair actually matches my routes which is a nice cool light brown or dirty blonde.
