I love the look and feel of this notebook. It draws attention to itself. Like also the mixture of ordinary and sepia pages. It feels like the sort of book that HG Wells's time Traveller would have made notes in. This is the best of the set available, but I am equally pleased with the others I have bought. I use these to record all the funny things my wife and I say, so we can look back at the laughs we had. I call them the " funny books". Strongly recommend.

I am quite a collectoer of these beautiful notebooks as I keep no end of notes when I'm writing. This one is perhaps the most beautiful of all. I love it.

I bought this book as a present for my son. It's is much better than I expected and I know he will love it.

This is a nice sturdy item, which arrives well protected in shrink wrap and with a separate (nice looking) pen in a polythene sheath. It was a gift, so I couldn’t open the shrink wrap and examine the pages, but the recipient was delighted with it. My only criticism would be that it needed a presentation box where the pen could be paired with the notebook more coherently, rather than shoved into the same packet as an afterthought. Probably not a big ask considering the price of the item.

So No matter where i go people comment on my note book. I have gone through around 8 but I buy extra as people comment how nice they are. So double up and enjoy. It brings a smile to my face every time i look at it. I fill it with all my thoughts and dreams and if im having a bad day i write about the way I want that to change and know because its a phoenix on the front I can totally make that happen.

It’s beautiful and I know my friend will love it for notes and ideas. Ideally kept on the bedside table or the desk.

Looks as stunning and majestic as depicted, if not better. Received compliments too. Like the way the pages inside are lined and some are stained, making it look old fashioned. Would highly recommend.

Perfect travel journal. I bought several of these notebooks last year and have been very pleased with them. Disappointed that the price has increased this year because an unnecessary pen is now included.
