Works well in my typewriter

use this all the time on my Royal typewriter. good ink, smears a bit but it's not a big deal. fits well on my Sears typewriter too. not ideal for older 1920s models like Remington or Smith Corona. more for like 1940s and up.

easy to use, functionality, color variety and quality is a plus, easy to store an extra one, dries quickly!

These ribbons fit well on my old Sears manual typewriter. However, I wish the ribbons were inked a bit more, as the type is somewhat faint. Has anyone tried Re-inking them successfully? I’ve also read that unrolling and lightly put a few drops of WD40 along the ribbon to juice it up a bit to get a darker type. Has anyone used this method?

Ink mostly dried up. I tried two of the four ribbons. The first didn’t leave any ink on the page other than like one very light letter once in a while. The second didn’t work at the beginning but eventually got some ink on the page. These are dry, I’ll never buy this again.

I was hesitant to buy these ribbons after reading the reviews. I will tell you that are very saturated to my surprise. I think for nylon ribbons they print very well. I haven't had any issues yet with them. I prefer cotton ribbons, but nylon ribbons print well. If you aren't satisfied I am sure that the seller will refund your money. I am satisfied with my purchase and they fit my Hermes Ambassdor perfectly. I took a chance and got four ribbons for a great price, I don't think you can beat that! If you need typewriter ribbons in black ink that is vibrant and saturated then I would purchase these ribbons.

I used these on some old 1940s typewriters. I kept some on the plastic spools they came on and transfered some to metal spools instead. Popped right in and worked well! Didn't punch holes right through it.Keep in mind I don't use the typewriters regularly but these worked well for our sporadic use and regular testing as I tinkered.
