I've bought multiple sets of these bowls over the years and would recommend them overall, with one caveat. The pros: They're extremely cute and colorful, non-reactive, they stack nicely, and the sizes included in this set will cover the vast majority of mixing-related tasks (I do have one larger bowl from the same company that I purchased separately, which I use when making things in extremely large quantities). The con: They break way more easily than bowls made out of other types of plastic. If you drop one on the floor, it will shatter. Pouring extremely hot or cold liquid into the bowls can also cause them to crack, albeit more rarely. For my purposes they're perfect, but if you're prone to dropping things it may be better to choose something made from a different material.

Absolutely adore the colors. Washes up easy. Light weight. Just extremely disappointed when I dropped an empty bowl on the ground in it cracked in half completely.

I love these festive, vintage looking mixing bowls. I wanted a set that was lighter weight than glass mixing bowls. They are dishwasher safe, but not microwave safe. I would not need to microwave in them anyway. They are sturdy and durable. I use them often for eggs and cake mixes.

My wife really likes these bowls. She is old enough to remember the ugh ugly original color. Sort of a baby vomit oatmeal and what ever bits of yuck. These colors, however, are actually bright and sassy and look edible. But, if you are expecting the second largest bowl to be a pale yellow your screen is misleading you. That bowl is key lime green! Way better than limp yellow.Another nice thing about this set is the price. The in-store price of a similar set was 59.99. I'm glad she checked on Amazon! And the free 2-day shipping made it almost as fast as standing in line in the box store.

The color and design of these nesting bowls are awesome! The price was very reasonable considering I purchased the largest one the company makes from a different retailer and it cost almost as much as this set of 4. These bowls are durable and microwaveable; they absorb the heat from the microwave so they are the perfect solution to melting candy chips.The only thing I would want to change is to incorporate more of the different colors, and/or buy a set of 6. I would have purchased 2 sets of 4 but some of the colors overlapped in the two set.Highly recommend this product!!

These are fun to use and very retro! Need to be a little careful as they can actually break! I’ve had 2 bowls break in half when dropped by children. So now only adults use them.

I spent many hours online looking for a particular type of bowl that my Mom used when I was a little girl. I learned that they were melamine, they were sometimes called "Confetti" and sometimes "Splatter", and that you can only find them on auction sites such as e-bay and etsy. I also found them to be very expensive and sometimes damaged. I was extremely pleased to discover this new version of the vintage bowls offered by Zak. They're so bright and pretty and I purchased a set of 4 for less than I could have bought 1 used one on e-bay. I LOVE these bowls, and my yearning for a piece of my childhood has been satisfied.

I'd been eyeing these nested bowls for a long time before I had my own kitchen with no roommate, and finally needed my own set of bowls! I was thrilled to make the purchase and remain happy with the bowls - lots of different sizes. However, after about a year of very light use, I dropped the largest bowl on the ground and it broke in half. I figured the bowls would be more sturdy, so was a little disappointed. Hopefully I can replace just that one bowl, because I really like them together as a set.

These bowls are way more interesting and pretty in person. The plastic flecks through them are melted and shining and have the appearance of glitter. The quality of the bowls are great; they are weighted well but aren't too heavy. They nest inside of each other so it saves on space underneath the cupboards which is always crucial! Extremely happy with this set!
