Great Aroma and Taste
Is there anything better than the smell of coffee and a great tasting cup ‘a joe? Not for me! The Phoenix Rising Coffee is exquisite from opening up the packaging and smelling that great aroma till drinking that first delicious cup.For several years I have been buying coffee beans and grinding my own coffee. Mainly because you never know how long that ground coffee has been in those bags sitting on the store shelf, and grinding your own beans releases all that great aroma and taste in the present. These beans have a great aroma. I smelled mostly the nutty, chocolate smell the most and it made my mouth water. The first pot was a nice dark color and had a mellow, smooth taste with a hint of chocolate and citrus.Another thing that makes this coffee stand out is the reseal able bag that you can push out all the air and save the taste and aroma for the next time you want a great cup of coffee. This is especially important if you don’t drink coffee every day and your coffee lasts a long time. You want it to stay fresh till the last of the beans are used. I don’t recall ever seeing a bag like this before so it’s a welcome plus.A real great tasting cup of coffee no matter if you use a French Press or drip.I received this coffee free to use and evaluate for my unbiased review.

Tastes smooth and fresh, and I love the resealable bag
I've really been enjoying this coffee. It has a really nice flavor and it's good for anyone who enjoys a coffee that's not super strong, but still has a good flavor profile.I love the stay fresh bag this coffee comes in. I almost exclusively buy coffee beans and grind them in my Nutrilbullet as needed. I feel like my coffee has a fresher flavor when it's made out of freshly ground beans. Most of the other bags of coffee I've purchased come with those little sticky strips that are supposed keep the bag closed. I hate those because the stickiness wears off over time and I end up having to put them in a baggie so they stay fresh. This bag has an easy open/close ziplock type of seal that is easy to deal with and the coffee has definitely stayed fresh. When I opened the coffee it smelled amazing! On the bottom of the bag is the date that the beans were roasted. Mine had a date toward the end of April, so I knew the beans were very fresh and could taste the freshness in my coffee.I received this coffee for free in exchange for my honest opinions and feedback.
