There was no battery or charger in the boxI was told I had to pay for it to be returned before it could be replacedDisgraceful

Requirement: Indian slate - mixture of 300, 600 & 900 x 600 laid on sand extending old crazy paving laid in concrete separated by a line of setts also laid on concrete. Seams invaded mostly by grass with some dandelions. The gaps between the slates can be weeded by lifting but this is really something to be combined with re-levelling them after they've settled. The sett to sett & sett to crazy paving are particularly difficult and can't be lifted.Bought the Einhell because I already had the battery & charger. Delivered from Germany a day early. Arrived in just manufacturer's packaging, not wrapped & the box was a bit battered. It might be this that led to one of the guard fixing screws being missing hence the loss of a star overall & on assembly.Combined with the Spear & Jackson 5253PK knife I'm making good progress. Neither is a complete solution but together they do a good job. Oddly enough the combination manages to loosen occasional tufts of grass which can then be easily hand-pulled yet neither of them removes it. I'm being left with deep-scoured joints which I'll be able to grout.

This cleaner is a complete waste of time and money. I have quite a few Einhell appliances and this is the worst.The wire brush does not get into the cracks of paving slabs, and the nylon brush is even less than useless.If you want to polish the joints without removing weeds and grass, this would be the ideal tool. I wont be wasting more money buying the very expensive brushes either. It would be better if you could use a type of cutting discs, however they wouldn't fit this appliance. All in all, very disappointed in Einhell for producing this tool, as most of the others I have are of good quality.

Have successfully used this tool and had managed to purchase two einhell 3,0A hr. Batteries with a lawn mower so was aware that the batteries fit all einhell tools. The downside of einhell kit is the cost of spare parts. Spare brushes are exorbitantlypriced. I would say good kit but doubt if I'll be buying anymore einhell. As an adjunct to the above this tool has now failed and is of course out of warranty.Have only used it for light domestic service Twice. Needless to say I will not be purchasing a replacement.

I have no complaints about the machine, but have found it very difficult to buy a replacement wire brush wheel that will fit. They only seem to be available from Einhell at an expensive price of £13.52, when they should not cost more than a fiver. I have since bought a similar wheel with a shaft which I drilled out and adapted to fit for £4.86 and it works just as well.

Package arrived via courier damaged with parts missing. Cost to send back was more than item was worth. After a few e-mail between the seller and myself,new parts were sent to me a no extra cost. Beware ordering from Amazon if they have to outsource from abroad as sending parts back to a seller in Europe will be costly.
