Gave me a stomach ache
If you have a weak gut or are in healing pls stay away from this product. It creates a tremendous amount of acid in the stomach and gut. I drank 1 shot on an empty stomach a few hours before a meal then experienced the worst stomach pain, then subsequent diaherra, from this product. It was like it had burned the lining of my stomach and when I ate soup with pepper the pain really set off and didn't stop until I relieved myself. Had to take Alkeseltzer, eat a few rolls, then a green banana the following morning. The taste for me was as expected as I have consumed various Ayurvedic herbal juices over the last year or so, but this one was particularly bitter and acidic. I didn't mind the taste but was not aware of what it was doing to the lining of my empty stomach until I ate a few hours later. Pls be cautious and only consume if you consider yourself to have a strong stomach and gut. I put a teaspoon of sodium lactate in the bottle to increase shelflife (as I've read online), then stuck it in the fridge for future use. I would like to consume this bottle after sufficient healing of my gut because I do experience post meal somnolence at times and my fasting sugar has been creeping up there. Good luck, I don't doubt the power of Ayurvedic herbs, I'm sure this works, just be aware.
