Great tablet, especially when purchased on sale
I'm used to an iPad for me and Amazon Tablets for the kids. My iPad tablet broke and I couldn't justify spending £400+ on another one. I decide to give the Amazon tablet a go, and have been really please: Pros: - Great price in their sale (they're always having sales so wait until it's on) - Easy to set up - Screen is really good quality - Easy setup - with the 4GB version it is really responsive - easily hooks up to my WiFi printer - it has all the common media APPs, even Youtube now - battery life is good - comes with a usb charger lead and a plug Cons: - sound quality is quite poor through the speakers - with this, and my kid's Amazon Fire tablets, hooking it up to my personal hotspot on my phone is a pain. It's always a case of restarting and forgetting the phone. It's just a hassle when you're trying to hook the tablet up to watch a program when they're in the car

Fantastic
An absolutely amazing tablet. Fire hd10 plus is such an amazing tablet a good upgrade on previous model,I contemplated a Samsung tab s7 plus which I could of had on interest free payments with amazon as well but what swung me in the end was the massive price difference,we're talking 700 pound next to what I paid on prime day. Can't remember the exact price but it was 120 quid ish 32gb model. Boosh a 256gb micro sd card in there 35 quid on amazon for a good one, don't be fooled by those 256gb micro sd cards for 15 quid as when you get it and put it in whatever device your using,it's usually only got about 32gb. Buy SanDisk,Samsung,or if you are getting it for a switch omg those nintendo licenced sd cards are a few quid more but if your like me worth it. Anywayz back to the review in hand. You ain't going to be playing any graphics hungry games on it,it dosent have an oled 4k screen and it's not a multitasking replacement for your laptop. But what you do get is a really nice screen and resolution, speakers are really good with dolby atmos, you can play games fine on it just don't expect console fps and graphical fidelity. Now if its amazons shopping, prime movies, music and connectivity to alexa your after then there is no better place to be. For watching movies and listening to music it's fantastic and let's be fair does 4k oled really matter for watching a movie on the go or on holiday,I think not if its a film or series you love and your like me I've forgotten about resolution etc within 2 mins,it's like watching a movie with subtitles, you forget your reading them within 5 mins. And back to the audio quality,it's fab, clear and will fill a small room,or you could connect it to your echo dots etc and have the audio in the whole house, very versatile. It's a quality tablet for the money,I would love amazon to bump the price up to say 200 and make it out of an aluminium frame with a glass back to make it feel more premium, and up the ram to 4 to 6 gb,put a bit faster procesing cpu inside it as well and I personally think it would easily steal some of samsung and apples glory. Amazon could easily do it with the power they have behind them. All in all though a fab unit and I love it

A decent mid range tablet.
First off, this is not an Android Tablet, this is an Amazon Fire Tablet. What's the difference? This tablet is running Amazon Fire OS, which is a branch of Android - but more it's own thing. That doesn't make it a bad thing. You don't have access to the Google Play Store, instead you have access to Amazon's own App Store. Most of what you are going to want to do is going to be possible on this device. Now, I have to admit that this is the first Fire Tablet I have owned, so I can't compare it to previous iterations. I wanted something that would allow me to read magazines, and graphic novels - but that I could also use to take notes and do sketches on. And... Yes, even though I am tied to using Amazon's ecosystem everything I want to do is possible. The screen is nice and bright and very responsive. Sound quality through the built in speakers is not bad. Video play back is pretty good. You can game on it, to an extent, as long as you understand this is not a gaming tablet. It comes preinstalled with several apps, including the mobile version of Microsoft Office. I've been using it for a few days now... And, I really like it. it is big, so it is heavy to hold, but I opted for the bundle with the cover and the screen protector (well worth doing), and the cover doubles as a stand. Overall it's a nice mid range tablet.
