Great for a tow vehicle
First off, unless you’re regularly towing a trailer with excessive tongue weight or putting a lot of weight towards the back of the truck, you don’t need these. Stop looking, there is no positive to these for a daily driver or a guy pulling a 12ft open landscape trailer. You’re only going to end up spending money on an unnecessarily bouncy rear end. These are also not so great for off-road applications as they limit suspension travel and try to lift your low side tire off the ground on uneven terrain. Driving through deep, loose beach sand at 5mph my rear tires hopped so harshly it triggered OnStar to call 911 for me twice in an hour. That being said, for for their intended purpose these things are hard to beat. When you start putting on weight, you’ve got ~2” of sag before the springs contact and start holding weight. The trailer I regularly pull has around 600lbs of tongue weight and I end up with less than 3” of total sag, pretty decent for a half ton pickup! Rear end definitely feels more planted to the ground, and with the truck riding level you almost don’t feel the trailer through the steering wheel. Worth their weight in gold if you’re putting on a lot of loaded miles.Install was 15-20 minutes tops, with most of that time being spent breaking the stock bump stops loose. Easy enough that when I know I won’t be towing for a week or two, I’ll swap them out for regular bump stops and enjoy the factory ride, which is a 5-10 minute job after you’ve done it a couple times. There’s a gap between the bottom of the cup that holds the factory bump stop and the bottom of the plate on these springs, which the kit includes a stack of washers to use as spacers. I shaved down a couple 3/8” drive sockets to use as spacers instead, which made the install feel much more solid. Aside from this minor issue, these get 5 stars from me every day of the week and I’d recommend them to anybody testing the limits on their truck’s tow/haul capacities.

Installation of sumo springs
I have a 4" lift on my truck so I needed to used some shims to get it closer to the axle. I started with one that put them too close, within a 1/4" of the axle unloaded. Produced a pogo stick ride over bumps. Helped with the body roll the most, but too harsh. Adjusted several times using different size spacers. Found that about a 1" gap between the axle & sumosprings provided the best unloaded ride while still being effective with the trailer load, and body sway even unloaded. Over all the truck is much more stable. I did end up ordering several different length mounting bolts, from an online fastener company to get the right fitament as you can't just find them at the local hardware stores. I used jounce bump spacers from an unused jeep wrangler lift to get the right fit, anything similar would work. But well worth the price and would fit a factory suspension truck fine as is.

Work great and easy to install
It only took me about 40 minutes to install them. The directions aren't great, but a little common sense and mechanical experience was enough to fill in the blanks. I installed them on my 2018 Silverado. Without a load in the truck, there is almost 2" between the sumo spring and the axle, which means they don't effect the ride when there is no load, or rough terrain. When I put a 25' camper on the back, there was much less drop and the truck rode much better and felt more stable. I feel that its a good investment and will help protect my leaf springs if I want to carry a heavier load.

Good Product but needs more design thought
Installed on a 2016 Chevy 1500 Silverado - These rubber springs seem to be made ok but I have only a couple of negative comments. The directions call to remove a 10mm bolt from the existing snubber. It's not a 10mm bolt but a metric bolt with a 10mm head. Our truck has a metal pocket welded to the bracket. The original snubber sits in that metal pocket. The Sumo springs are too large in diameter to fit inside so must sit on top of the pocket edge. The directions have you adding a stack of plain washers to make up the distance. This really is a pretty cheesy way of doing this. A single larger spacer would be a much better design. The bottom line is they may work fine but installation wise they are attempting to cover too many bases with one package. I would have finished the first side quicker if not for stopping to see if there was an installation step or parts I was missing.

Perfect for Towing!
Great addition for towing my travel trailer!I must admit I do not have a perfect comparison as I also purchased a new travel trailer. However, It is the same length and weight as my old trailer- but with the sumo-springs it does wonderfully! Very little bounce and the rear end feels much stiffer- holding the trailer in line at speeds. My old trailer pushed me all over the road...VERY easy to install! It took me about an hour- 45 minutes of which was getting the old bump stops out. 5 minutes to bandage my knuckles and only about 10 minutes to actually put them in.Only con- without any weight in/on the bed of my truck it rides a bit stiff, almost like a 3/4 ton. But... isn't that the point?*Photo shows my truck with trailer attached, using WD hitch, you can see minimal squat in the rear end with sumo springs installed.

Easy install! Problem solver!
These are the bomb! Buy them! I bought these mainly for the comfort of my wife. More often than not when riding in my truck 2012 GMC Sierra 1500 my wife would complain going over dips or speed bumps or taking a turn and the road has a water ditch. The truck would have insane body roll if I didn't take any bump/ditch at the pace of a dead turtle. Installed these in about a hour. It solved rhe body roll BIG time, and on occasion when I pull a trailer it doesn't sag down and the ride quality with a trailer is day and night difference.
