Q: Hi, can you buy a sliding door kit? I live in an apartment and the windows all open out from the bottom. A full length door kit needed. Thanks

Amazon do sell sliding door kits, you would just need to make sure the dimensions for your door match and also the diameter of the hole to put the hose through matched.

Yes you can depending on your window type etc. mine was a high window so I had to.

Q: What type of dehumidifier does this use? I.e does it come with a tank that can be emptied or would it need to have a pipe permanently set up?

The hot air and most of moisture is expelled from the back of the unit through the supplied hose that you will need to attach or pass through a window. There must be a small tank for any condensed water as there is a small nozzle for draining. I’ve had one unit for about a year and I only had to drain it twice with a small amount of water. I just lifted the unit into a bath and drained rather than attach a hose.
