I had been experiencing what I could only fathom to be cheilitis and was using Aquaphor lip ointment to sooth it. This helped a lot but was only a band aid on the situation as I had stinging along my lip line and a red, almost blistering skin that would shift around on my lips constantly. It was very unsightly and went on for a several months until I realized it was going to be a truly chronic condition unless I tried to do more to heal it fully. So I looked around online and found this product. After less than a week of taking it every day, I experienced almost total healing! I have continued to take it consistently and only experience less than 5% of the discomfort I had been previously suffering. I will continue to take it for a total of 3 months and then see if I am completely rebalanced and back to normal.

This product works almost immediately for me. If I feel that tingle on my lips indicating In am getting a cold sore, I take a dose and it is gone. I follow up with a few days of doses, just to keep it away. Great product with extra nutrition for the immune system. Lysine is a nutrient for nerves, as well! All is a company with a long history and good reputation.

I like this product because it includes more than just L-Lysine. The tablets are big. That is fine with me. I feel that they help keep my immune system strong. This is the only thing I have ever found to help with cold sores. I used to get them really bad when I was under alot of stress, but I started taking these twice a day and I almost never get them anymore. Even when I do, they aren't half as bad and do not last long. The only thing that keeps them from having 5 stars is the taste and size of the pill. It is definitly worth it though!
