My favorite disposable plates ...
These really stand up to abuse, specifically cutting steak or chicken breast without piercing the plate which happens frequently with paper plates.I've been using these along with the matching bowls for several years, and always find them to be great quality. These plates are large size, larger than typical paper plates, with an attractive molded-in design around the rim. They're actually washable if you really want to get more use out of them (I've even run them through the dishwasher a couple of times). As long as I can get them at a reasonable cost here on Amazon, I'll continue to purchase them here. They're cheaper than my supermarket, when my supermarket actually has them in stock, which isn't very often.I consider them a super value.

Nice, solid disposable plates
They are probably the best I have tried. One of the reasons I bought them is because I wanted to have an specific plate to use in the microwave constantly. These plates worked like a charm, and for general purposes they seem to last quite a long time, before one feels inclined to dispose of one. Sometimes when you pick one out of the bunch, and think is only one, there are two. I know it may sound silly but they are thin enough where you might have two instead of one. It is easy to tell that these plates are very well made. They come in handy in so many ways, I do not feel like counting the ways. 4 Stars for sure!

Good Plates, Funky Smell
We used to love both the Vanity Fair bowls and 11" plates but in past months they have had a very unpleasant, chemical, distasteful smell. These were our go-to disposables for positive qualities: surface texture, size and sturdiness, but the odor will prevent us from ordering again. We tried another batch from a different online retailer (no comparison to Amazon, of course) as a test and those plates and bowls smell too. I noticed another reviewer a few months ago mentioned this unpleasant odor also. Wish they would correct this problem because other disposables don't stack up to these, but don't want to risk the funkiness.

Nice looking, microwaveable, disposable
I would be more impressed if some of the plates hadn't come with cracked edges; that cheapened the plate in my eyes. The material looks like a paper/plastic combo of some kind and they are deep to hold food nicely. They have a nice basket weave pattern along the rim so they look good and are made specifically to be able to microwave your plate of food. (They don't heat up in the microwave so you won't hurt your hands.)

Nice For Wedding Buffet!!
These are fantastic especially for the price. I have to have disposable plates at my wedding and I wanted something a little nicer than shiny plastic party plates but I didn't want to pay a boat load for the clear 'cut crystal" disposable plates especially since one needs a lot of plates for a buffet. I'm glad I didn't go with the cut crystal because I actually prefer these. I was a little sad about having to use disposable plates but I feel much better now that I got these. These look quite elegant for disposable plates and they won't look tacky in photos. The plates are quite large and have a matte finish. They are super sturdy too which is good because I am serving a turkey dinner. I'm very happy with this purchase. I even got the matching bowls for salad! :)

Really nice plates/bowls
Since we were having a large crowd for Thanksgiving, I was looking for disposable bowls and dishes that were decent so my dishwasher wasn't filled up after the first course with just have my regular bowls, never the less main course dishes. I was hesitant to use these at first, but they turned out to be really nice! They held up to hot soup, didn't bend or warp, and they were actually pretty nice looking! Several people looked at them to see what kind of bowls they are because it isn't evident that they are disposable! My delivery came quickly, which I was thankful for, so it gave me time to make a decision on what bowls to use. Definitely a time-saver and well worth not washing those many dishes!

The Ultimate "paper" plate, PERIOD
The Ultimate "paper" plate, PERIOD. A bit pricey but WORTH IT. Not only does this look good, but it seems (nearly) indestructible... You can rinse these over and over and over, totally amazing stuff. You say, what's the point, why not use a standard plate?Easy. First, you still have the convenience of throwing it away when you want. Also, it's unbreakable. Good for children to use, etc. Also, when you have more guests than clean plates, etc., (or you forgot to run the dishwasher). Last, you can just be more reckless with these. They are so awesome. Well worth the price to me. And, it's NOT "paper". I don't know what it is, but it's good.

Graty Party Saver
This was a great party saver. Very thick and durable plate, and it is very large, so you can fit a lot of food on them.replaces all the small thin, flimsey ones.
