Changed formula, won't be buying another
This was the second time I bought this toothpaste because of how good the first one was. I was quite surprised with the change from the first one. The first tube was a great formula, white, foamy smelled a little minty and reduced bad breath significantly. This would get 5 stars. The paste in second tube was fruity scented, almost transparent and a loose gel-like formula which fell off the brush a few times, didn't foam and after 2/3 brush strokes, the toothbrush looks like nothing is on it. I would give it 2 stars. With the gel one, I needed to apply 3 times as much generously to help spread the toothpaste around and we brush our dogs teeth daily, so we got through this tube very quickly. I don't know why it was different and I'm not sure if I want to order a 3rd one in case it's the gel again. I found the foamy one to be a better teeth whitener and improved with their breath. I could say the gel one still cleaned their teeth but that could also be due to us scrubbing the teeth daily and therefore keeping the plaque at bay. You can't see where the gel has gone so it's impossible to know if it has reached and cleaned everywhere. What a shame that it was a gel, the original formula was perfect and lasted so much longer.
