it works well, perfect fit. Please, fill up with dark roast coffee to get real taste. medium roast was too light for me.

I purchased this product when I discovered the pods are no longer being manufactured, thus this is my only alternative if I want to continue to use my Starbucks Verismo coffee maker. This product comes with two stainless steel pods. One has a metal filter at the bottom with a screw on lid, the other has a press on lid but no filter. There is also a tool to pack the coffee bean in the pods (a must) and a brush.As other reviews have said...these pods are fine if you like weak coffee. If strong coffee is a must don't buy this product! I tried both pods. Loved the screw on lid however it holds less coffee than the press on lid so I no longer use pod with the screw on lid.I have tightly pack, lightly packed and moderately pack the coffee grounds in the pods. I have also used average ground verses finely ground coffee beans. So far... extremely finely ground beans that are moderately to tightly pack in the pod gives the strongest cut of coffee (still quite weak compared to the Starbuck pods). I don't like super strong coffee so I am ok with this. I would prefer the coffee to be stronger but I can live with this. I currently only have medium roast coffee beans. Once I have used this batch of coffee beans up I will switch to a strong roast arabica coffee bean and see if this gives a nicer, stronger cup of coffee. I have noticed that using the stainless steel pods actually creates a 'coffee foam' on the top of my coffee which I rather like and never got from the Starbuck pods... I would just like a slightly strong cup of coffee.I am hoping switching to a strong roast arabica bean will provide the desired strength of coffee. I will update my review at a later date.

I was a little reluctant to order these based on some of the reviews, but I took a chance based on one of the detailed reviews. I can now use my Verismo coffee maker again. My review to help other in their decision. The screw together pod holds less coffee and did not foam, but the with Cafe Bustelo made a very acceptable espresso. The larger capacity press on pod did foam an made an exceptional cup of espresso. In fact, I did a side by side test with the Starbucks espresso coffee pod. While it did not foam as much as the verismo pod, the coffee was just as strong and the Bustelo in the reusable pod tasted much better. If you want to continue to use you Verismo machine, by all means purchase these, you won't be disappointed. One last important point. Be sure to pack the coffee well in the pod. That is the difference between a strong or weak cup of espresso.

Extremely disappointed in this product.1) when you open the package there are no instructions how to use the two different pods or how much to fill them.2) extremely weak coffee even when using espresso coffee powder. Store bought or personally ground code brands are even worse.3) wastes a lot of water4) powdered milk just forms a paste in the pod. Very like actually goes into the drink1 positive— makes very hot water fast

It was good for the first few uses but it started to clog up the dispensing sprout. It’s a really good idea and I like that a lot but since it didnt work after the first few times, I got rid of it.
